Prompt ideas, anyone?
Word's got out that I'm young and well-controlled. Every youngster within a 100-mile radius is hunting me down to ask me things.
I don't even know where to begin, or how to advise them. I stopped killing because I felt guilty for killing my first and only victim, and I didn't want anyone else to be effected by my teeth and subjected to permanent loss.
Maybe the first step is guilt, then. Maybe that makes it easier. But for those who don't feel guilt...I'm sorry. You probably need more help than I can give you.
I have marks from the corset and I'm still learning to breathe again.
But Douglas' face when he saw, and the pleasure we both got from it?
Worth it.
Had some extra money, so while I was out shopping, I bought Douglas a new DVD. It still makes me laugh that he's a sucker for romance films and novels, but I guess I'm a sucker for aeroplanes.
Bought some new models today as well. Can't wait to start building! The rest is a secret, for Douglas' eyes only.
AU: Turning Douglas
After long discussions and a bit of begging, Douglas had agreed to be turned. Martin was ready to do it, looking forward to turning his first vampire. If this worked according to plan, he would soon have a coven of his little MJN family, flying the friendly skies forever.
Finally, the appointed day arrived. Martin was thirsty, but not harshly so, as directed by his research. He had prepared for a feeding as usual...except this time, a mug of warm blood sat waiting for Douglas after its completion. "Are you ready?" He asked his lover.
Feeling a bit depressed. It's so odd, because I haven't felt like this in a long time.
Usually, I'm fine to deal with it, but for some reason, I'm just really sad.
In case anyone's curious, I haven't forgotten about Douglas' odd burst of strength.
Being confined to bed is annoying for someone like me. I'm so used to being busy! Even when I was human and constantly starving, I needed to keep busy so that I didn't go insane!
...though, to be honest, I kept myself occupied so my stomach couldn't convince me to eat all my rations.
But anyway. I've been doing research on a borrowed laptop, and I'm beginning to learn some amazing things about vampire...well, the technical name is "drudge," though the term is ancient. I'm not surprised at that, though. I've heard that some vampires still speak Greek or Latin as their first language! I think it's so inaccurate, because it implies servitude, but I'm sure the modern world will pierce vampire vocabulary eventually.
Anyway, being a drudge means lengthened life and increased vitality. Interesting on it's own, considering how weak some people feel after giving blood.
Hmm...looks like this is beneficial to Douglas after all!
My throat is so dry...
But nothing will tempt me. Nope, not at all.
Feeding is not a necessity. I mean, it's not like I'm about to pass out or anything.
