Hi Furo! I was curious about your ocs. I don't know any of them yet, but are any of them good cooks?
Also thanks for your ask earlier and hope you're doing good 💫
Hiya! You are welcome, and I am doing fine!
So for my Ocs there are two groups I guess. There are the ones I made for the game Twisted Wonderland and the ones for my book Eternal Entities.
From my Twisted Ocs, most of them cannot cook/never learned 😅. Florian Meadows, a flowery skunk beastkin based off of Flower from Disney's Bambi, is the most likely to cook out of all of them, but it would have to be very simple dishes. Otherwise, you risk eating burnt food. Another is Mortimer Padriac, who is based off of Professor Ratigan from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective. He can cook, and very well at that, he just hates the hassle of it all. So unless he has to cook, either for himself or if he he forced to cook for others for any reason, he will not go towards the kitchen.
Now, onto my OCs for Eternal Entities, out of the main characters Nağme Saor is the best cook and is in charge of cooking the majority of the time during their journey. She is an avinian, a species of birds able to take a humanoid form, that grew up being close friends to the crown prince due to her older brother. Since she was in the palace all the time, she learned how to cook from the palace chefs. Her brother, Aavistus, can cook crude meals (he did raise her after all, but didn't have the means to cook well). Then there is Vanajja, a former pirate that they are traveling with. She isn't a picky eater, so her cooking is just throwing in edible things into the fire for the sole purpose of not getting sick. She couldn't care less about taste or texture or what not, as long as it is edible and keeps her alive. Valgus Taeva is the crown prince of an empire, so yeah...he has never cooked anything for himself before. He can start campfires, but that is the end of his helpfulness. Then, there is a djin called Palsu the Illusionist. They don't eat. It is a literal sentient cloud of pure magic. They don't understand why mortals cook things.
I hope this was interesting enough to read!
