Twitter is a mess but I guess I’m happy that most carats are acknowledging the issue and understanding why wonwoo was wrong. And honestly it’s just not him but Koreans don’t seem to understand why that song is so fucking horrible and racist.

I want to say when I saw the reason i thought “it’s just a song?” and then I watched it and thought how would I feel if some korean artist does a song about Colombia like this. I understood why people got upset with seeing their role model and idol singing this. The song is horrifying. And it pains me how it’s so into korean people’s mind that you just eat something and immediately start singing that. It also pains me how kcarats are making fun of this :( so it’s a united fandom when it comes to YouTube views but no when a part of the fandom is feeling disrespected?

Well at least I’m glad that the amount of people trying to reach wonwoo and educate him about this is way much than those trying to “soft” this. kcarats are just :// and don’t let me start with Spanish speaker carats on whatsapp or Facebook, god I have seen some comments that just left me speechless.

And you know what annoys me the most? THIS IS WONWOO we’re talking about, we can say we know him, if he knows he did something wrong he is going to apologize and educate himself, just like he has done in the past. But some carats are talking like he is just some poor kid who can’t take criticism when in fact we all know it’s the opposite and it’s always been the opposite!

Also this issue has showed me once again the hypocrisy in kpop community. It’s offensive when it’s my culture but when it isn’t then “it’s not a big deal” a lot of you were all about screaming culture appropriation when idols use black culture but since it’s Indian now then “it’s not a big deal”. It’s awful to see that.

Anyways, I’m still proud of this fandom because as I said, most of us understood the situation. And I’m sure he’s gonna understand too. And all of seventeen because I also saw other members singing that song in the past.

No one is cancelling wonwoo. WE LOVE WONWOO that’s why we want him to know this.

Help a CARAT! Please read!

So uh, I don’t know if anyone will read this (probably not) but I guess I’ll give it a try since i know it could help. Well as I said in a post over a month ago, I lost my internet service provider. I live in a neighborhood outside of my city, Cartagena in Colombia. It’s a government project so all houses here were subsidized by them because these families situation.

Right now I use mobile data packages. $1.50 usd and I have free use of twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp for six days + 340 MB’s for navigation (those are which I’m using to post this).

Our ISP was subsidized by the government too and it was the only one with network here. It was called ‘Total Play’. Other ISP’s in the city like Claro, Movistar or Tigo don’t have network around here. My brother is starting his college semester soon and classes will be online so we’re very worried about that too. The thing is, we found an alternative: satellite internet connection.

A very few people here have it already. But, it’s very expensive. Too expensive to afford right now because my job temporary suspended me (I work at the airport) and my mom does enough with the bills and food. We have to pay for the installment of the equipment and then pay for the service of the first month in advance. We only want to achieve at least the payment for the installment and the first month. We will worry for the next months when it’s time. Right now we need $100.000 Colombian pesos for the installment of the equipment and $100.000 Colombian pesos for the first month service that have to be payed in advance. It’s around 65 USD for all. (Dollar value changes here every day but right now 1 dollar is around 3.500 Colombian pesos).

For some of you it might not look like a lot because dollar works different here. gathering that kind of money right now is very very difficult for us. I want to ask if you have any money to spare to please considerate donate it for this. My brother and I would be forever grateful. Even one dollar can make a huge difference for us.

This might seem frivolous. Wanting money to get internet. I know a lot of people is struggling to get food and health care and here I am asking help for something like this. If you think it’s wrong please just skip this. I know it seems like it’s not something we need to live (and we don’t) But at this point my brother and I are getting desperate. His father doesn’t help him and we can’t ask my mom for more than she does already. He is starting classes soon and if we don’t fix this he might not be able to do it. Also, we don’t have cable tv (again) because we can’t afford it but we were okay with it before because we had internet and we’d just search online if we want to watch something. But now we have to stick to the regular tv which actually sucks so that + being quarantined is getting to our mental health. At least with internet we’d find stuff to do.

I miss tumblr. And now that I have a lot of free time I feel awful that I can’t help Seventeen in streaming and voting just because I don’t have WiFi. I can’t afford albums right now for obvious reasons but I thought I could help with the online stuff. Right now I can’t even do that and it feels not good. especially since in twitter everyone is trying to tell you how much your value as a fan lays in the hours you spend streaming. I hope I can go back to work soon but the pandemic situation in my country isn’t looking much better than the rest of the world and well, airports might not open anytime soon.

I tried to guess stray kids zodiac signs (sun) and I can’t believe I actually got a few right: changbin was the easiest, he screams Leo force. Minho was easy too, I even give a shot to his mercury sign and yup this boy is the epitome of Scorpio. Hyunjin was a bit tricky but I got it too, Felix was tricky as well. i knew bang Chan was a libra because tiktok told me (can’t believe he said his birth time too aldkfk).

The one that I got wrong right away was jisung. This kid shares almost the same chart as Felix. This boy is so so loud I couldn’t believe he was a virgo; bet his rising sign is air or fire sign maybe. Someone spoiled me I.N and Seungmin and ruined my fun 🙄🙄🙄
