Gear review: Nathan VaporKrar 4L (Men’s) From the second I put this hydration vest on, it fit like a glove. It was like an upper body hug. I was aware I had it on but could hardly feel it. Not sure if that makes any sense at all to someone that hasn’t worn one yet. It has room for a 1.5L reservoir in the main back pocket (I didn’t have one in for this run) and 2 easy access bottles up front on either side of your chest. These 12 Oz soft flasks have extend straws so you don’t have to pull them out of the pockets to drink from them. During my 10 + mile run, they didn’t leak/drip or bother me and because they are soft flasks, I hardly noticed them. There are 2 more pockets located just below the flask pockets (1 either side) and the stretchy material allowed me to securely fit my iPhone 7 Plus (in a shock proof case) in the pocket. These pockets can obviously be used for other things like nutrition, flashlight etc. There are 2 more pockets, one on each shoulder, useful for stashing smaller items like Endurolytes, money, lip balm etc. Velcro stash pockets are on either side of your flank. Not quite as accessible as the other pockets but still very useful for items that you might not need to reach every 5 minutes. Another useful pocket is situated below the reservoir and runs all the way from one side to the other. Great for putting extra clothing if running through the night or if you need to carry layers. Key Features: Reflective Strips front and back Light breathable material that stays in place Built in whistle (safety first!!) Good amount of pockets Soft Flasks have a reinforced side that stops them collapsing on themselves Adjustable sternum straps Side straps help customize the fit, better #nathansports #vaporkrar #runningvest #hammernutrition #howihammer #hammerfamily #run #ultrarunning #runallthemiles #igrunners #runshots #hydration #rungear #instarunners #runnersofinstagram #runnersworld #fitness (at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina)
