hi yes LCIH is getting a face lift.

i have been gone for a wHILE. i’m so sorry. between work, working on myself and my relationship, i hadn’t found time for writing. but i am feeling so inspired, what being stuck in the house because the south decided to have northern weather for once.

this is a post to reach out to all of you, since i have an idea for a poc oc, but do not want to be inaccurate with any details of the character! so please, if anyone would be so kind as to help educate me on things so i may be accurate in a future story, it would be greatly appreciated!

i want to be more inclusive in my writing, and i believe doing something like stepping from my comfort zone about characters will help greatly. as i myself am not a person of color, i would greatly appreciate any help in descriptions of different skin tones, facial structure, hair texture, physique, speech, so on and so forth. the goal is to help my readers feel like a fic of mine is putting them directly in the story, and can imagine themselves as the character. i am open to learning about any and all ethnicities, and hearing struggle stories as well, so a reader of a fic may relate to the character.
