People don’t understand the potential of Leo Valdez in ships considering the fact he was on the run since eight. He has so much potential of meeting anyone and having either a friendship or relationship that gets broken up because cops found him or he got taken to a foster home/orphanage.
Let me give some examples:
Valgrace-Meet when Jason is on his way to Camp Jupiter at (what I believe/remember) 8 years old, meets Leo on the way. They become friends but separate because they’re going separate places
Valzhang-I don’t remember how old he was, but Frank walked all the way to Camp Jupiter from Canada, he could’ve met Leo on the way and had a small friendship
Perleo-Percy’s on one of his quests and when getting separated, meets Leo who helps him out without knowing how (maybe saying something smart/giving advice he didn’t know wouldn’t be helpful) and then they keep meeting occasionally for no reason at all
Carleo-They meet at a museum, Carter because of his father, Leo because of school. They hang out and bond a bit before Leo has to leave and they don’t see each other again
And dont even get me started on crossover ships.
Leo moved to a new school and meets a kid named Peter Parker who’s his lab partner, and they immediately hit it off. Walking down the streets of NYC that same day, he gets attacked by a random bad guy and gets saved by Spider-Man, who seems to act weird around him.
Moving to a new city known for its notorious crime rates, yet the person who’s fostering him claims it’s no trouble. Just moments later he gets into trouble when someone pulls a gun on him, but gets saved by a weirdo in a mask calling himself Red Robin.
Leo moves into a couple’s house after they adopt him, and when he’s at school he gets paired with a boy for a math worksheet. He finishes his worksheet while the boy does nothing, and they spend the rest of the class goofing off. When the boy gets home and is in trouble for not paying attention in class, he just tells them he was making the new kid feel at home. Phil and Claire think it’s sketchy, but choose to believe Luke after they agree to meet Leo and his parents over dinner
