Something I've never thought about with the imagery of the original Fallout games but popped into my head this weekend:

Now the question is was this intentional on the developers' part or just a coincidence?

Progress! Officially passed the half-way point! Had to migrate it to the floor- the degree to which this project had completely taken over my desk was driving me batty. 

The other images are earlier stages. The third one is when I realized I’d done a row off by a single stitch and need to completely undo a bunch of stitches to go back and fix it. (Insert the deepest, saddest sigh imaginable here.) Fortunately crochet is very forgiving of this sort of thing while you’re still in the middle of it, so it was mostly just lost time.

All of these pictures are fantastic demonstrations of terrible yarn management, by the way. Flipping this project is like untangling a spaghetti monster. There are some good suggestions on how to deal with this online, I just chose to ignore them this time because I didn’t want to wait and build the tools for it. Someday I’ll learn! (I will not.)

This sucker is a full 4 feet across! That was not intentional. Oh well!
