kore was trusting her, and she couldn't fuck this up. it wasn't like they were new to stealing, kriff, they'd been brought up in it. but she'd never done anything really on her own before, so seeing kore across the room, even just the simple look was enough to ease the concern in their chest. they moved through the crowd, having spotted the watch on the senator's wrist, catching kore's eyes again to make sure that was the right one before they acted.
"let me guess, you're a witch too?" vesta stared at the mirror of her own face, surprised to finally see her own doppelganger, here in this place of all places. with how paranoid the towns people were, she knew this would only add suspicion to her. "this could be good for us.."
