"Well, then you'll have to ask him. If he ever answers this damn door," Sam knocks on the door again.

"Dude. I'm not asking an Avenger if he flushed his phone down the toilet after he shrunk it. That's just, well I don't know!"

"Bucky puts his arm in the dishwasher!" Sam points his finger at Joaquin's chest, a small smirk playing across his face. "Avengers are weird, Torres. And-"

"Hey! Sorry, I don't live here. Though I'm here all the time so you know part of the family. My boy Scott, he's wonderful. I assume that's why you're here. You know since he's the one who lives here and all." He took a pause for the smallest moment before his eyes widen. "Holy- You're Captain America! Sam Wilson! I remember when you were the Falcon and Scott, he was Ant Man but not really because he hadn't done anything yet with superheroing. I mean he'd done a lot of theft and petty crime but that was before we were taking down that bad guy? The crazy dude with the wings though I guess you're also a crazy dude with wings but you don't shrink you know. You stay the same size. Oh man. It is such an honor to actually meet you Cap. Can I call you that? I know Scott does."

Sam turned to Joaquin for a brief second as if to say "see, weird." before turning to the man.

"Yes, we're here to talk to Scott. We were in the area and he's not answering his phone. We really need talk t-"

"Oh man. Yes. That's a long story you see. It started when I got a call from Scott. See, I was with my cousin Ignacio at the farmer's market, the nice one, not-"
