Last month didn’t go to plan. It started fine, run king regularly. However I struggled with pace, I wasn’t too worried as the goal was to build up to & complete a half marathon before the end of the month. Strength & endurance was what I was aiming for. I didn’t manage the half. I broke down after 8.8 miles. I took the rest of the month (week & half) off. I did have jab too so good timing I guess. The original goal was to complete 50 miles. If I’d finished the half & regularly run in the week & half after I would have made it. I’m feeling okay now, foot seems okay, plan is 50 miles for April. Weekly yoga is helping too, going to start with gentle slow short runs & build back up to 10km plus. Back to rugby in April too, coaching kids on a Sunday morning so long runs are going to have to be Saturdays! #runner #monthlymiles #lonelygoatrunningclub #garmin #velographic #weightlossjourney #runnersofinstagram #runningcommunity #ukrunchat #rebel #injuredrunner (at Sea-View Viewpoint) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNHQZ0BHnJx/?igshid=1rsr9ndwyol09
