the intended audience is prolly a tiny bit older, but it explores ideas about witches and gender and change and home
Signing the bases of some pots with sketches based off my childhood art.
This is a self-portrait where I'm playing with a ball. I've got my initials back to front and a fish and an infinity above my head. I've drawn my mole and the fringe of my dress. I think I am also talking about playing ball. Whether that's my hat or my hair, it's doing a good job covering up that lovely enormous head.
This guy keeps my wheel company while I wait for clay deliveries. He also reminds me of it when I find little dusty paw print around the garage.

Weird & Wonderful Wednesday
Lucky is about to be evicted from the apartment she lives in with her grandma Stella (who was delightfully grumpy-ish, grouchy-ish, and a little bit crotchety). One night something on the other side of one of the walls seems to call to Lucky, and she goes through that wall to find a silver spoon that seems to have some sort of energy not of this world coming off of it. It has two things etched on it, the word Salem and a witch. She finds out about VenCo, a company that’s a front for witches of all sorts. This coven has waited since colonial times for when the seven spoons finally come together. But, of course it’s not that easy. As Lucky and her grandma go on a road trip to New Orleans to find the last spoon they’re not alone. And, the final showdown is a doozy.)
It was a great book. The worldbuilding was fun, and the characters were awesome. It was a really fun read!
