still,  the  shorter  rabbit  gently  clasps  an  encouraging  paw  to  his  back.  a  smile     MAKING     its  way  across  her  lips.     ‘  don’t  worry,  i  made  sure  he  would  eat  something  good  for  him  for  once.  i  don’t     REALLY     know  if  skeletons  can  get  sick,  but  i  know  well  enough  that  you  care  loads  about  him.  you  can’t  count  on  good  ol’  venelope  to  look  out  of  your  numbskull  of  a  brother  while  you’re  busy.  ’      she  nods  to  herself.

‘  pun  not  intended.  ’

Papyrus shrugs in agreement...yeah its pretty embarrassing to think of the many times he has collected Sans from here. Especially as the food here doesn’t meet the standards of The Great Papyrus!

If Sans isn’t here now...then he’s probably at home, sleeping off whatever he’d eaten. Lazy Bones!

‘Well, at least he’s been taken care of. My brother will eat nothing but junk if he had it his way.’

‘Thank you.’

Papyrus looks up in thought. ‘I am a very lucky skeleton, having such a cool and caring friend.’ His eye sockets return to Venelope. ‘You can count on me to be to be especially great and compassionate to you in return! A skeleton’s oath!’  He places a hand on their shoulder. ‘And this skeleton never breaks an oath!’

Melie’s backstory !

Shit, the resemblance between the two is amazing ! Venelope looks like a dark-haired angry Melie ! I wonder if Melie’s angry personality is consciously trying to be more like her sister ?

Their mother doesn’t sound like a good person though. Why would she be angry at everything that Melie does ? No child is perfect !

I hope we’ll get to discover more about Melie’s backstory soon.
