"Are we really sure that this "Princess of Destiny" is the Princess of the castle ? Couldn't it be someone else ? The Great Deku Tree didn't give us a lot of hints as to her actual identity." He tried not to think too hard about his father's last words. He couldn't break down crying like he had yesterday, not again. Not yet. Once his mission was over, he would grieve. Until then, he had a job to do. "I do believe that the Princess of Destiny is the Princess of Hyrule. I have been told that, because of their divine blood, a number of Princesses through the centuries had powers over time, or were even able to glimpse into the future. The title "Princess of Destiny" would then be fitting." "Then can't we just go to the castle and ask to meet her ? Why do we need help and favours to reach her ?" "The Princess could not possibly entertain everyone in the Kingdom who might want to meet her, so you would need a good reason, or to be someone important, to just go and meet her like this." "Our reason is important !" "It is, but I doubt the guards will believe us if we tell them why we want to see her. Few people are sensitive enough to feel the shift in magical energy that has given you those nightmares and alerted the Great Deku Tree, and since the Kokiri Forest is so secluded and no one ever goes in or out, no one in the city or the castle could possibly know who the Great Deku Tree was, much less what happened to him. Which means that next to no one will believe us until we meet the Princess, hence why we need... alternate methods to secure a meeting with her."
