Despite how emotional she was and how she hated to go to one of the places that reminded her of her pain more than anything, Valeriana returned to Gerudo Town as soon as she was able to keep herself from crying. She made her way into the Noble Canteen- probably one of the only places she was comfortable enough with staying for more than half an hour.
She needed a way to take away the pain.
So she ordered several Noble Pursuits with double shots of liquor in each, and began drinking away the agony and sorrow. Even though, alcohol gave her heart difficulties and she usually avoided consuming much of it- she felt there was little left to lose, at this juncture.
One by one, the glasses were drained. And little by little, the woman became even more upset and delirious, the liquor having the exact opposite effect on her than intended. So of course, she tried to solve the problem with more drinks. And more, and more, until the bartender outright refused to give her a single drink. By then her mind was desperately trying to latch onto consciousness, but was slipping more and more each second. She stumbled out of the cantina, and struggled to make it to a side alleyway, where she could no longer stand and support herself. That last thread between her body and consciousness was cut, and she collapsed, very badly injuring her head on the hard sandstone tile and falling into a concussion.
you know the world is shit when the kindest girl you know is struggling with SH.
[2021] back when i struggled with self-perception quite a bit
I hope someday I’ll find the courage within myself to speak to you again. And when I do I’ll apologize for wasting your time. But until then I’ll be watching from the sidelines as you carry on and forget me.
A new breath of fresh air.
How pathetic we both are.
Cowardliness.
And our never ending game of imaginary cat and mouse.
Okay but it's so insane to me that Haikyuu, a work whose manga ended in 2020 and whose fourth season came out years ago (film?? when are u coming again?? idk) is actually the most active fandom i've ever been into (with maybe mha). Like, it's always full of fics, art, threads, events.
And i'm currently in fandoms whose canon material is still coming out, or just ended, and i feel like... why are we not like that? There still are fics and art... but it's so hard to find events. Like, fan weeks, exchanges, big bangs, zines. And it's a pity because i love engaging in these, they're my favorite thing in a fandom, and there just aren't. It's sad
.
I'm morphing into a night owl. I swear I'll go to bed early tommorow night, lol.
