Melkor (Morgoth) and Mairon (Sauron) - The Silmarillion / Lord of the Rings [works of JRR Tolkien] (Note: I draw my art on a desktop computer; if you are scrolling on your phone, you will need to zoom in to see this image the way it was intended.)

I just think their whole thing is kind of delightful! Melkor, whose ingrained desires would see him corrupted; Mairon, who thought that was way cooler than what Aulë had going on.

I decided on a crown/armor that was reminiscent of an asymmetrical disruptive blast. It doesn't have to be practical. because it's melkor.

And tbh, unsettlingly enough, it is somehow accurate??? Like ofc this is about Sauron the villain, and I like to believe I am not a villain, but aspects of it fit me if that makes sense? I think if I was a villainous, unsettling monster I'd be this.
