No Longer Buried - IWTV Verse

Disclaimer: I've only seen the show, only have interest in the show, so please excuse if stuff wouldn't technically work - also just going to use this as base for all vampire stuff from now on

Turned at 22 in the early 1700s, Marcus took over his father's established businesses and set about pushing investments into the industrial revolution in and around London. He had no interest in joining the London coven or interacting with them as they kept to their hunts, and he kept to his plan to use newfound immortality to steer human development towards a bright new era of ever-improving technology.

While business partners, politicians, and nobles thought of the man as a brilliant recluse, Marcus frequently welcomed those of lower birth into his abode both to feed and as staff. A fondness for humans continued to tediously gnaw at Marcus, occasionally turning to bouts of love; though this affection kept him from creating any fledglings as immortal company, unwilling to steal the humanity that made them so entertaining.

During the Great War, Marcus watched as numerous vampires in the UK rallied together with the growing idea that humans could clearly not be left to their own devices and that they should live under vampire rule. Disinterested in this farce (and enraged with his then-lover's draft into the war), Marcus set about to dismantle the plot and kill those who had 'masterminded' it. Unsettled by the sheer volume of death - particularly by personal loss - Marcus retreated to his country home for decades.

When another war of scale broke out, instead of leaving humans to their own devices, Marcus assisted the British Government from the start. Watching as humans continued to create atrocities, the vampire started to become disillusioned by the modern humans and lose his fondness for the country folk he had grown up with and adored even during his afterlife.

Realising that Marcus would be a huge threat should he decide humans were no longer worth his time, a plan was enacted to capture the immortal and seal him away until they could be assured he posed no further threat.

Stored within the Kaelidoscope Research Facility, Marcus was experimented on for over 50 years until the seemingly harmless 'Ben' was released into MI6's use. It is known by higher-ups that Ben is a vampire and is allotted the correct food.

As usual, Marcus definitely isn't as gone as initially thought.

As the Fae swept from the courtyard of the castle, Queen Charlotte rushed to her children and shouted for the guards to close the grounds. King Robert attempted to convince his beloved wife to send the children to another world without magic - where they might be free from the curse. But the Queen refused, babes cradled to her chest as she demanded another option.

And, so it was, that the twins were sent far to the north; the furthest reaches of the Kingdom of Frell where a royal manor nestled at the foot of a mountain. Here the twins would be raised by servants, kept safe from their curse as the King, Queen, and their most trusted court sorcerer searched for a way to undo the curse.

The twins grow up happy and safe in the mountains of Frell, beloved by their servants and animals. A stable of horses and a kennel of dogs keep the twins' company as no one new can be trusted with knowledge of their location. Officially the twins are to be kept out of the public light until their 25th birthday due to a wish for them to 'understand the common folk'.

Ella frequently rides the horses to the limits of their sanctuary, fed up with their captivity and wishing to see the world beyond. Despite only knowing the servants and their infrequently visiting parents, Ella is kind and talkative to strangers she meets along the mountain paths. These drips of knowledge of the outside world only grow her hunger for freedom.

Elliot is quite the opposite, trekking deeper into the mountain with his bow and quiver daily to explore and hunt. His dog, Kai, keeps him company during the long hours of solitude. He is an excellent shot and very knowledgeable about the plants and animals found around the mountains.

The twins are aware of the curse but have limited understanding of how it affects them due to the servants never giving them direct orders. Verse tag: Fairytale

This verse will follow his years as a student at Eton College, and later as a student at Oxford. Already quite the charmer and the gentleman, James is hungry for adventures. It's at Eton that he finds a book talking about Neverland, the magical Island that will become his obsession for the rest of his life.

Alt-Verse: Villain verse

Society can be quite hard, certain people are looked down on, prices skyrocket; the rich get fatter and the poor get skinner...Abandoned by his parents after he successfully killed the man who attacked him and his childhood friend; Desmond didn't know they were sending him away for his own good. Other villains would be out for him so they gave Desmond away to protect him, but that resulted in a hurt and confused child feeling abandoned. Years pass and when he looked up his family and went to check in on them, they had a new child and moved on.

Hurt and confused Desmond turned to a life of crime and found it suited him nicely, it went from small things like money and food, and he grew a biker team; calling themselves "Pack cerberus" with backup they moved on to more riches, tech gear and so on till they decked out an abandoned mall interior in their gaudy trash. Desmond's team became robin hood like figures and dedicated their lives to fucking over the heroes and mostly the rich.

Fuck all those that get in his Pack Cerberus way.

                         HUNTIN’ FOR SWAMP MONSTERS

      Dwayne Pride was 19 years old when his mother was killed.

      A freak animal attack; that’s what the officers told him. Dwayne’s mother was never the healthiest woman. It’s not too hard to imagine her getting confused and wondering off to the nearest lake. It wouldn’t take much for a gator get too close, and it’d be over before anybody got to her. 

      But Dwayne’s lived in Louisiana his entire life, and the bite marks weren’t from a gator. Gators crushed and ripped to shreds; these bites were too calculated. Too neat. Plus, gators didn’t go for the heart. 

      It took a damn long time to learn about and research and hunt the thing who killed his mother. Dwayne himself didn’t believe his own wild theories about werewolves until he finally found it, and put a silver bullet through its heart. 

      After that, he decided he was never going to let anyone else lose somebody important, like he did. Dwayne wasn’t going to sit back and watch as monsters destroyed his city. Years later, he’s still on the hunt, keeping his search within Louisiana; mostly New Orleans, to focus on his home. 

      Nowadays, if he isn’t lending a hand to hunters who need him, or hunting something himself, Dwayne runs a jazz bar in the middle of the Quarter. A popular hunter hang-out with a room upstairs to spend a night or two. The only rules are; no shooting off your guns, and try not to bleed everywhere. If a hunter needs a place to chill for a few days, you go to Dwayne’s. He’ll help you get your head on straight.

Synopsis:

Ignis began ‘life’ as a part of the machine network, and for the majority of his life has been a part of it, killing androids indiscriminately. He eventually gains enough self awareness to recognize the harm he has done, and disconnects from the network along with many of the machines near the end of the 14th machine war.

This essentially makes him ‘mortal’, and if his machine hard drive is destroyed, he will be permanently erased. But his old machine body eventually begins to deteriorate, and with the help of Pascal and a few other machines, his hard drive is successfully transferred into an old, long-dead YorHa unit that has been out of production for many years. For this reason, his visual sensors are somewhat impaired (meaning he’s not completely blind. Think a mild version of the visual error status effect in the game), but with some help they could be restored, along with his NFCS system.
