5 movies that changed my life
slumdog millionaire (even though i realize now that this isn’t the greatest movie ever made or anything, it was the first foreign/independent film i ever saw in theaters and it marked the beginning of my film obsessed life.)
2001: a space odyssey (it was the first time i was ever “blown away” by a film. i remember not really talking, or doing anything for that matter, for a while after watching it for the first time. that type of experience after watching a movie very rarely happens.)
the dark knight (seeing this movie is still to this day my favorite movie-going experience ever and i’m still going back weekly to try and achieve that same july of ‘08 high.)
kids (i watched this at the most perfect time during my teenage years and it was sort of like a weirdly memorable and almost appreciated punch in the face.)
the master (this was the first movie i saw in theaters alone. for some reason, at this very moment that feels like an incredibly special experience. going to the movies by myself is honestly one of my favorite things to do, so i guess i should thank the master for helping me realize that.)

1) What profession would you like to enter?
Mmph man I don't even know. I love art but feel like I wouldn't be able to make a career out of it. I also like psychology and microbiology and just sCIENCE in general and I feel like that would be a more socially acceptable career path- not like I make my choices based on that, but it would probably be easier.
2) What was the first fandom that you were part of when you joined tumblr?
Well, I was always in the Harry Potter fandom (since I was like, eight years old) but when I joined Tumblr I was pretty consumed by Glee, specifically Klaine. To this day I've never shipped anything harder. I probably read more than twenty bibles' worth of fanfic.
3) What was the weirdest dream you’ve ever had?
Omg okay so I have so many weird dreams but this one time I dreamed that I was making out with this guy that I used to know in like sixth grade on top of a piano and then it was halloween and I went to a party and everyone was dressed up like nicholas cage and it was at my friend's house but it wasn't her house because it was Edward's house from Twilight. And then it was like the whole world was a huge game of doodle jump, but you jumped on chickens. There was also a tornado and a bunch of other weird stuff, and I can't even remember it all.
4) What do you think the worst part of society is?
Definitely the whole mindset of "if you're different than us, we automatically gravitate away from you". Like, I think it makes more sense for people to actively try to socialize with others of different religions/cultures/sexualities, just to become more educated, you know? But it seems as though most humans automatically refrain from doing that. This doesn't make much sense, sorry
5) If you could meet any famous person, who would you meet?

7) Why are you on tumblr?
Honestly it's just a procrastination tool and a distraction from life. Although I've met some really cool people and learned some really cool things on here, ultimately I don't think it adds to the productivity/happiness of my life. But I can't seem to quit it, so here I am.
8) Favorite activity off of the internet?
Drawing, and doing nail art, and going to concerts, and traveling, and baking, and swimming, and talking to people I love a lot
9) What is your idea of a perfect afternoon?
Going to a cafe with you, and making you try coffee even though you hate it, and going home and watching Sherlock or a horror movie or Glee, but we don't really watch it and we end up talking too much and then we shut it off and go outside and walk for hours to who-knows-where, until we end up on a roof somewhere and look at the sky until it gets cold and our fingers are freezing so we walk all the way back and talk about everything and then make a pillow fort and talk some more until it's 3 AM. This has happened, and it was my perfect afternoon, so I'm putting it here.
10) If you could visit one place in the world, where would it be?
Oh god this is hard. I really want to go to St. Petersburg, Russia. I also want to go to India though and Argentina and Turkey so AGAIN I CAN'T CHOOSE AND I AM SORRY

Night owl. Although the school year and the fact that my mum turns the wifi off at night don't really lend well to that lifestyle. :P

Liz Sladen. I feel like she'd just be really fun to talk to, since she's met most of the Doctors on screen and just seems like a lovely person.

I'm reading Guns, Germs, and Steel for school. I'd like to continue the Divergent trilogy at some point.
