this part of the movie is so beautiful and moving. it has such deep meaning to it.

this movie, and Via Pullman, has always meant a lot to me. i am the older sister of one younger sibling who has neurodevelopmental disorders. i’ve always been used to my sibling being the focus of our house. i never wanted to complain, because i know they needed it and my parents are doing their best, but it has made me feel left out throughout my life. Via Pullman is a very dear and real character to me and i relate to her so much. glass children — you are loved and you are important x

ok so i’m rewatching atypical because i really wanted something gay and i couldn’t find anything new so i’m watching something old new not new old but yk and Casey kinda gives Via vibes from wonder like always under the shadow of there little brother and never getting attention and their brothers needs always go first and stuff idk just something i made a connection with also there both protective of their brothers
