Wonder (2017) — Via Pullman
this part of the movie is so beautiful and moving. it has such deep meaning to it.
this movie, and Via Pullman, has always meant a lot to me. i am the older sister of one younger sibling who has neurodevelopmental disorders. i’ve always been used to my sibling being the focus of our house. i never wanted to complain, because i know they needed it and my parents are doing their best, but it has made me feel left out throughout my life. Via Pullman is a very dear and real character to me and i relate to her so much. glass children — you are loved and you are important x
natalie goodman and via pullman glass daughters i love you i love you
"we often choose our favorite characters because we see ourselves in them" i don't think any of this is a good sign whatsoever

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUGGIE PULLMAN!!!
:D
so i just watched a bit of Wonder (auggie and his facial insecutities) and like as a gay ofc i gravitated towards looking at the girls of the movie...
AND HEAR ME OUT, IF YALL EVER WATCHED WONDER YALL SHOULDA SEEN HOW GAY MIRANDA IS NGL!! like this is such an old movie but she rlly is honestly they shouldve made them into a gay relationship LIKE EVERYTHING WAS SET UP PERFECTLY to where i got up to.
SO FIRST OF ALL. so many tropes in there uve got the 'friends to enemies to friends to lovers' PERFECT!! and also the 'childhood besties' ultimate gayness cmon like friends who didnt know they had crushes on each other??
and the bf? yeah no weve all heard breakups for the gays...
ALSO MIRNADA IN THE PLAY SCENES. first of all helps via out with her costume and like dude u legit ignored her for a whole ass week or month or something, SHE ALSO ADMITS TO MISSING VIA TOO. such a good friend yeah ya probs have a crush too!!
anyways back to the play, girl stared so hard at via my gaydar was on high alert!! also like ever since the beginning of the movie i kept looking at them saying to myself, missed opportunity for gay things. LIKE IMAGINE THE POSSIBLITIES, THE WHOLE POINT OF WONDER IS AUGGIE AND HIS FACIAL THINGS AND INSECURITY.
could have had made a second movie highlighting mroe on Via's side and how shes gay or bi and always forgotten but miranda never does! peak lesbianism. i should be a movie director.
i always picture tori spring as sort of like olivia pullman from wonder and i'm not sure how my brain made that connection but why is it kinda real
