Not a Fandom thing, but I'm feeling triumphant so you all get to share in this.

I FINALLY figured out why my son's computer was running so badly!! The RAM chip wasn't seated properly! So this computer that's supposed to have 16gb of RAM was only registering 4gb! Tore down the computer and reseated the chip. Finally it runs like an actual computer again!

He's been using mine (because I'm a wonderful mother) so this gets to be my writing computer now, I guess.
