For a bit of context, Wojciech Jaruzelski was communist party politician and military commander on People's Republic of Poland. He was rulling the country during martial law in 1981/1982.

And why is it even more funny? I've read somewhere that creation of Robespierre in that movie might've been inspired by Jaruzelski (as this movie is full of allusions to whole politics of that period).
