Apple Pie French Toast Bake
Today I discovered this amazing bread called pain viennois or Vienna bread. It looks very similar to brioche and that’s what caught my eye.
I think I didn’t get the colours correctly so I might give it another chance a draw more breads like this.

Moral of the story: don't chew more bread than you can swallow.
I made chocolate Vienna bread today. There is no picture. I used AP flour instead of bread flour, and they are a textbook example of why the flour type is important. But they are still relatively soft, and nothing with that much European-style butter and chocolate in them can possibly be bad!
Vienna bread now done, lovely loaves.
