2. Favourite colours: at the moment my favourite colours are blue and teal; but I do love rainbow combinations.

3. Currently watching: we recently gained access to HBO Max which has up to episode 4 of S2 of The Pitt, so I’m waiting for more of that. Last week the big shows were Last One Laughing UK, and The Other Bennet Sister. Normally we’re watching things like Have I Got News For You, Taskmaster, Gogglebox, Richard Osman’s House of Games, Great British Bake Off, The Repair Shop, and crime dramas like Shetland, Vera, The Chelsea Detective, or The Marlow Murders. We can’t wait for the new series of Ludwig! As you can probably tell, I’m a big telly addict.

4. Currently reading: a kindle romance boxset called “Homecoming Hearts Series Collection” by H.J. Welch and Helen Juliet.

5. Current obsession: I’m still fervently shipping the Doctor with Donna Noble whenever I can

6. Currently working on: a Ten/Donna ‘Persuasion’ Austen AU. In fact, I’ve got 2 versions of it on the go: one modern setting and one period.

7. Last google search: finding a distance on the map app.

8. Current desktop picture: it’s a 60th anniversary poster from the 2024 calendar, of the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna Noble.

nice song! not typically the sort of thing i'd usually listen to but it's always good to branch out every now and again. enjoy the however many boops i inflicted upon you within four minutes and nine seconds

What the hell, let's spread a little happy:

1. When the stars align and I get out of the bath to clean sheets and clean pjs and everything feels so fresh!

2. When someone says "wow my pet doesn't normally like people but they've taken a shine to you!" & I get to snuggle their pets smugly.

3. When flustered strangers go "sorry I just had to let you know how cool your outfit is!!!"

4. Getting an absolute bargain in the reduced section at the supermarket >:)

5. The leaves on succulents. Just a little squish with my fingers, not enough to hurt it. They hold so much water, they hold so many secrets.

Current Obsession: reading romance stories where the main bloke is always tall, dark and handsome; and the woman/partner is always blonde, stunningly beautiful, and trying to resist being instantly in lust with the bloke.  [wash - rinse - repeat - tingle, basically]

Coffee: we used to buy a particular breakfast blend from Whittards, but these days I generally go with just the smell, otherwise I have to be satisfied with the occasional slice of coffee cake.

Tea: still have a soft spot for Sainsbury’s own brand everyday tea, and Tesco’s own brand Earl Grey.

Food: this is a toss up between chip shop chips, and cheese & onion crisps

Scent: bacon, fresh bread, turkey roasting in the oven.

Author: oh dear. I suppose IF I had to choose one it’d either be Jane Austen or Terry Pratchett for his witch books in Discworld.

Artist: J. M. W. Turner without a shadow of a doubt, but I love loads of artists.

Movie: if I said I have a small obsession with films, that might be considered an understatement. The only reason I was allowed to get Sky Movies was so that I’d stop buying DVDs (let’s just say that storing them became an issue). This is my fancy way of saying I couldn’t possibly choose.

Fictional character: because she has been such an inspiration to me, I’m going to choose Donna Noble

Band/type of music: almost anything, to be honest, although I’m not a fan of modern jazz or rap music. As long as I can dance or sing along to it, I’m happy

Season: all of them except for birthday season – which we have now entered and will carry on until the end of September.

Flower: I like all flowers, and although I rather like white flowers mixed into a bouquet, I detest the smell of lilies

Colour: blue

Animal: dogs and budgies

Architectural style: modern and Tudor

Mountains or beach: both, in that I love the freshness of mountains, and the sight of open water, rather than being the sort of person who sunbathes

Meadows or forests: both. You’ve got to love a tree or two.

Random fact about you: Monday was my first online funeral; and I spent last Thursday physically at one of my two remaining aunts’ funeral (being invited to 3 funerals in a week is a new personal record, btw).
