It's finally spring and The Green Barge is about to embark on the Great West Way from Bristol Harbour to London. With so many miles and locks to cover, their little troupe has a month-long meander to prepare the for the capital and make it their best puppet show yet.

Thought I'd separately post this fun illustration I made of Neil as one of Cicely Mary Barker’s Flower Fairies (that I've used for my blog header). I had a sticker book of the Autumn Fairies when I was little and the Midsummer aesthetics lined up nicely in my head.

There's a hawthorn outside my window, which not only has the most fabulous red berries, but is also known as a may tree - I always associate Neil with spring (despite the fact we never see him in that season ;_;) so it seemed like the perfect choice for Puck.
