Now see, canon gets it. The fandom doesn’t. Wanna know why? Wanna know why I vehemently hate VinylTavi in fandom but I DON’T hate it in the new episode? It’s because of THIS MOMENT RIGHT HERE:

Remember every single video I posted before? How that change Vinyl does maybe sort-of happens at the end of one or two of them, but only AFTER the damage has been done and Octavia has been physically hurt, her property damaged, and her emotions made to be insignificant?

CANON DOESN’T DO THAT.

So if you’re going to play off that part of their relationship in the future, understand that Vinyl isn’t a reckless buffoon that disregards Octavia’s feelings until Octavia is basically crying and running off. She changes when Octavia is upset right away. DO THAT TOO.

Also Vinyl is still mute 10/10 my headcanon confirmed.
