honestly? Big fan of the thunderbolts the movie was GREAT but i CRAVE platonic relationships, so could we maybe get Bob (and small mentions or something of the other thunderbolts??) with a fem teen 13-14 reader who has a childhood similar to him?? TYYY!!

Bob had a shitty childhood. The others had seen so in the void and he wouldn't wish his father's beatings or his mother's words on his worst enemy
So when Valentina decided to put you, a child with powers you hardly knew how to control, on the team, the others all believed that it was a terrible idea
It would be an understatement to say that you and Bob were awkward around each other, battling your own inner demons; Bob didn't believe he would be good with a kid and he was still figuring out how to live with the Void, and your parents– after years of abuse– practically pushing you into Valentina's arms the second they realized she was going to take you off their hands
But somehow, you and Bob formed a... bond of sorts
You sometimes help him out around the tower or you two might just sit in the common area in peaceful silence. Sometimes one of you would bring a game and spend what felt like hours playing
By your first few weeks in the tower, you already had an established routine; you woke up, spoke with some therapist Valentina hired, trained with either Yelena or Ava, go to sleep, rinse and repeat.
This routine somehow made you and Bob even closer. You helped him with dishes(either washing, drying, or putting away), and you two didn't always speak when you did this, but it felt nice. It felt nice to have someone around
Until one night, when the nightmares got too bad and you could hear your parents harsh words ringing in your ears, you snuck out
Bob was the one that found you, in a playground not too far from the tower, sitting on an old swing set. You opened up about what had been bothering you and by the time you two reached the tower, your ears had stopped ringing and you were laughing at a joke Bob made
You opened up more to Bob after that; things you hoped Yelena or Ava would teach you, tv shows you like, you two even made a thing of going to the playground together after dark, just the two of you
Bob tries to make pancakes into different shapes for you. This does not end well(but he tried and that's what matters)
RAGEBAITNG WALKER TOGETHER RAGEBAITING WALKER–
A new school year eventually comes knocking on the Thunderbolts door; Bucky drops you off and picks you up(despite Alexei insisting he can do it AND get you there on time) (he won't)
Despite failing to make pancakes that one time, Bob is the KING of school lunches. He even slips a little note wishing you a good day
The Void has a soft spot for you. No he will not admit this
Please tell him about your day!! Assure him that you had a good day. He can feel the Void trying to claw out when he even suspects that someone might be giving you a hard time/bullying you
Meet-the-Teacher night creeps up on him and he is a nervous wreck as Bucky explained to one of your teachers who they were. She greeted each of them with a small, polite smile and a handshake until she got to Bob. Her smile widened and she lit up, as if in awe
"You must be Bob, Y/N's brother!" She said to a speechless Bob. "She's told me so much about you!"
Bob didn't know what to say, just nodded his head as Bucky asked about your grades. But, as he thought about it more, how you trusted him over the few months you had been thrust into the tower, Bob realized that he didn't mind very much that you called him your brother
Alexei has taken to calling you two 'Bob & Little Bob'
Bob and Alexei know your friends names and Alexei is always asking about them
"How was Madison's dance recital?" or "Did Bailey say how softball tournament went?"
Speaking of your friends, they LOVE Bob and he is very confused by this. He sometimes hears you on a call with one of them and he'll hear them ask "is Bob there?" or "tell Bob I say hi!"
Just don't ask him to help you with your homework. It's gonna end with BOTH of you crying at the kitchen table
halloween headcanons!! kinda short post so I apologize

I personally see him as being a MAJOR halloween person
like he is going ALL OUT by october 1st
decorations everywhere, spooky music on blast, candy wrappers littered around, the whole nine yards
If you two are still in the early stages of your relationship, he would be hesitant to suggest doing a couple's costume
But would be down if you suggested it
In his hesitation, he would probably try to subtly ask what you're going as, and try to do something similar(ex. if you're going as a character from a movie, his costume would be another character from that movie)
But if you DID do a couple's costume?
STUNNING. SPECTACULAR. SHOWSTOPPING EVEN
You two would win any and every costume contest
And if you straddled him while helping with his makeup? MELTED. deceased even
Valentina makes you two pose for what feels like a million pictures(and yes, Mel will post and tag you in all of them)
I don't see Bob liking horror movies very much, but he'd watch them if you liked them(plus it's an excuse to cling to you so a win is a win)
GOING TO A HAUNTED HOUSE
Part of Bob is loving it, but he is practically crushing your hand with how hard he's holding it and will continue to do so until you leave the haunted house
Even though part of him believes that he is way too old to go out trick-or-treating, if you two walk by a house with a bowl full of candy and a "take one" sign, you bet he's taking more than one
But omg imagine handing out candy to kids–
And Bob just looks at all these kids, stunned and mesmerized, thinking about how his parents would never let him wear that costume or let him keep that much candy
But he just can't help but smile and compliment every trick-or-treater that comes knocking
Bob is 1000% giving these kids full-size candy bars
Needless to say, the tower becomes a local hotspot for trick-or-treaters
By the end of the night, you and Bob are hiding away from the others, eating whatever candy was left over
