This is my Salvia Divinorum who's gone through some battles the last couple of months but still surviving. My first plant, and the beginning of my love of Salvia (sages).
Pictured is her from youth to now. In October I moved her to a larger pot using Miracle-Gro which was the worst decision I could've made. Their soil was loaded with fungus gnat larvae. She became infested. I had to totally let her dry out which she hated. She's a high moisture loving plant. I sprayed her leaves with a need oil mixture and gave her a hydrogen peroxide rinse.
Next came the attack of the evil orange chonkers: Scout my fat cat. Scout likes nothing more than messing stuff up, parkour, and tasting plants. And that's just what he did to poor Sally.
Since this incident, I have acquired my indoor greenhouse with led lights and humidifier. Her health has since improved, finally slowly putting out new leaves to replace the ones she's lost.
Today I repotted her with fresh soil from a local nursery, coconut coir, diatomaceous Earth, thick sand, sphagnum moss, and perlite. With a top layer of straight sand.
Hoping that the fresh soil will add to her recovery.
