This year, I pledged to myself that I wanted to do more than just commuting from home to work everyday, or just doing ocassional travel between annual leaves. I want to be able to do more than just living, I want to do more giving than buying. Thank God I knew this beautiful soul called @devinadeascal and together we created @idvolunteer_com. This organisation gives you an opportunity to teach kids in need while you travel. It was tough at first, and it is still at times. But I guess when you want to do good, universe will mostly support you to. During our last travel to Sumba, we are blessed to meet @roswitakulla, an inspiring highschool teacher who dedicates half of the time to do the same passion project, but in West of Sumba (ours is at East of Sumba), the project is called @englishgoestokampung (thanks to @imcilll who introduces us!! Kak Roswita (or widely known as Kak Asti Kulla 😉) gives us a chance to teach one of her groups at Wakaibubak. The group was one of the most enthusastic, everglowing bunch of kids whom we love dearly. Would you like to experience this amazing feeling to give while you travel as well? Why dont you head to our instagram @idvolunteer_com and check out our next schedule on 15-18th Dec! Warn you, the feeling of teaching can be quite addictive ♥️♥️♥️ . . . #travelandteach #visitsumba #ilovesumba #wonderfulindonesia #travelvolunteer #volunteerinindonesia #volunteerinsumba #volunteering #idvolunteerprojects #idvolunteer (at Sumba) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqhWbcZgePW/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1plkhlsodx7cp
