Create reality
“Exercise to do tonight: Get an empty photo album, for the vacation, marriage, business, or life of your dreams. Set it on your bed stand so you can see it, and open it up. As your nodding off to sleep tonight, and begin going into a deep trance, drifting off into the world of dreams... ...stare into the mystery of the blankness, and allow photos from your beautiful future to come forth from your unconscious. Step into your new and beautiful future as you go to sleep, in a trance, staring into the blackness of greatest mystery in the Universe: You.” #Visulize #Success #SimonStepsys #millionaire_mentor #bitcoinmillionaire #cryptotrading #businesssuccess #porsche911 #simonstepsys #netmillionaire #businessopportunity #businessopportunities https://www.instagram.com/p/BrQzP45FS63/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=iy0hqqlh7v58
Mind: a trashcan? I’d say yes!
Hey everyone...! 😊
It’s been a really long time and I cannot tell you how sorry I feel for not being able to write. Yes, there was a major case of ‘writer’s block!’ I just couldn’t pen down anything comprehensive enough. Writing is therapeutic for me and since I have been away for more than 6 months, I need to start catching up 😉
I have been thinking about letting go of things that are unhealthy for me. Have you ever thought about it? About what is healthy for you and when it borders on unhealthy? I am not talking solely about food or the physical health. There is something equally important to which we actually do not pay much attention to: mental health. Yup, you read that right.
As much as we’d like to believe, we actually do not give ourselves the space to sort out our mind, get it the rest it needs and then put it to use. Rather we use it like we use free wifi, ‘all the damn time and without thought...until we are forced to stop!’
My question is: why do we do that? why do we have to use our mind like a trashcan? Seriously, think about it. We have more than thousands of thoughts a day, that’s normal. But it is on us when we choose to dwell on almost each of them and start the spiral downwards. We keep filling our mind with unnecessary thoughts like “why did s/he do that?” “what did s/he mean by that?” “was that a comment or a compliment?” “why don’t people like me?” “S/he must have been sarcastic when s/he said that!” and so on...and it ends up overflowing. Atleast we empty our trash cans everyday but with our mind, nope, no can do. Do you feel where I am going with this?
Everything cannot be important. Read that again. Everything cannot be important. Everything has a time and space for it. Maybe it feels as if we have to do everything simultaneously; that maybe the time would run out; or that we have to do it because we do not have a choice; maybe we cannot procrastinate anymore than we already have and the pressure is overwhelming; maybe things just feel too intense at that moment; maybe thinking on it will make it better; maybe trying to decipher someone’s actions would make all the time spent on it worth the understanding. The maybes are endless. I will not and can not tell you that what and how you feel is wrong, but yes, the way we might handle them maybe unhealthy for our mental well being.
I want you to stop and think if you relate to any of what I said. Because honestly, I myself do that sometimes and then I have to catch myself red-handed 😁 and work on it. Breaking barriers is not easy. But knowing there is a barrier is the most important first step. Take a breather and empty that trashcan i.e your mind. No, I agree it is not easy! But well, easy things almost always go unappreciated 😋
Now how can we empty the overflowing trashcan, you ask? I have some ideas but you’ll have to find something that works for you 😊
1. Visualize! Close your eyes and imagine a large can. Write TRASH on it (remember, you are visualizing!). Now throw all the disturbing thoughts in it. Put the lid, tape it and send it rolling away. Feel the relief and the feeling of having space to breathe as it rolls away in your mind. Then count backwards from 30-1
This is just one way. You can improvise it for yourself!
2. Prioritize! Set your priorities straight. Is someone worth you time and dime? Is that thought playing on loop going to help you solve human mystery? (it’s been decades and even psychology says human behaviour is complex 😛 ) Is there some thought that repeatedly distracts you from everyday life tasks? Is that thought so important that letting it go will make you feel empty or useless? Etc. Now that you have given it a thought, stop. That’s about it. Focus on what is actually important and things will start falling in place. Make lists if it makes you feel better!
3. Let it go! We often have a habit of holding on...be it grudges or people. Think of the dry soil slipping from your fingers when you try to hold it tighter. It never stays. Learn to let things go when they become unhealthy...be it toxic people or grudges or some thought of self-loathing. Letting go is freeing. It gives a sense of control as well...over our own self. We feel capable of taking on the world. It helps us see our capabilities. Try it and then say!
4. Sleep! Get proper amounts of sleep (minimum 8 hours a day!) and regulate your sleep cycle. You have no clue the wonders a proper, regulated sleep can do! 😁
Oops! I think I wrote for too long. Sorry I’m not sorry 😉
These were just a few ways. Find out what works for you and trust me when I say YOU ARE NOT ALONE! 😊
I hope you smiled today (you know....for endorphins and all 😉 ) and I hope I made sense. 😊
Lemme know your thoughts too...!
Much respect! Being only 2 years younger (50) I can certainly appreciate the effort it takes to rebuild a body... the older, the wiser they say... but to add to that, more responsibilities, more demands, more of everything. So to juggle all those things and the. To prepare for a show takes balls. Looking forward to seeing#kevinlevrone on e again on stage. There is such a powerful message wrapped up in his comeback and really anyone who is still dedicating and living a life of power and control 👍🏻🙏 #Repost @kevinlevrone (@get_repost) ・・・ My body is responding to this heavy training.
