On Fridays we celebrate our wins big and small for Friday Brag. This Friday we head into Labor Day Weekend we are also wrapping up the Blue Mind Challenge. We wrap up by sharing photos of the Emigrant Wilderness area we will be hiking in over the long weekend. The photos are from TahoeToWhitney.org website and were taken by 📸 Peter Skaff. Today is Day 30 of Happiness Happens Month & the 97th day of 💯 days of #bluemind challenge. Being in and around water 💧 has been scientifically proven to increase happiness & wellness and so does doing good. This week we celebrate: 1. Hosted two thank you events for India Partners supporters 2. Promoted fundraising craft faire event as a volunteer 3. Packed for 4 day backpack 🎒 trip into Emigrant Wilderness Deer Lake area with longtime friends. Prepared with homemade granola & chocolate almond Keto flourless torte to share. 4. Picked two buckets of dahlias for our 90 year old neighbors & their daughter to cheer them up as they clearing out their long time mountain home and downsizing to a smaller place in town. 5. Hosted pizza 🍕 dinner for family of 5 7. Gave a dozen fresh eggs from our chickens to a friend who hosted thank you event in her redwood grove. 8. Wrote 12 thank you cards to supporters who’ve made donations 9. Feeling more energy after finished liver cleanse giving up coffee & alcohol for 3 weeks 10. Cleaned out the refrigerator 11. Setup baby chicks with enough food and water to last the 4 day weekend we’re away 12. I Wish You Water

Yesterday, kicked off the start of the 6th annual #BlueMind Challenge, a 100 day challenge raising awareness about the health and happiness benefits of water. Last year was the first year that Susan participated in the challenge by posting on Susanville’s social media accounts. This year, Susan will be posting posts on her personal Instagram account @sueacannon.
