The Fat Slags are a well-known British comic strip that has appeared in the VIZ comics. The Fat Slags are Sandra Burke and Tracey Tunstall, ‘San and Tray’. They are overweight, eat a lot (they like eating chips), and like having casual sex. They binge drink, hit on men, and their favourite is Baz a local unemployed man who drinks and is a criminal. The two women enjoy drinking at the Dog and Hammer pub. Men who refuse them are called homosexual and get critizised for having a small penis. They also criticise other women by calling them fat and ugly, even though they are themselves.
The Fat Slags became an animation in 1992, Jo Unwin voiced Tracy and Kathy Burke voice Sandra. In 2004 a film was made which featured Geri Halliwell, Naomi Campbell and Dolph Lundgren.
