Our first Danny Phantom commission, wooo, let's go!

This was immensely fun to work on :) The character is a younger Vlad clone, created by a mysterious ghostly figure known as "Six"; he's eager to prove himself as someone different from the halfa he was created from, and antagonizes ghosts and halfas alike, acting as a monster hunter of sorts, even occasionally taking up the name of "Victor Van Helsing" during his hunts.

He is the kind of person to watch Ghostbusters for the irony of it, and then grow fond of the show for real. We already know he's getting his own stories to live and his character is been explored, we couldn't be happier about what his IRL creator has in store for him!

Danny Phantom Randomness (Double Trouble AU)

I just got a crazy idea because as you know, I love twins, but to go along with one of my previous posts sharing a concept of Dani as Vlad’s biological clone what if instead he made two clones? One of himself, the other of Danny...?

It all started with an idea. Vlad wants the perfect half-ghost son but after being turned down so many times he decided to clone Danny instead. When that fails too Vlad creates one of himself using the same method which means this clone is a girl too. His original plan is to pit this new clone (we’ll call her Velvet for now until I come up with a better name) against Dani but to his surprise the two girls end up forming an unlikely friendship, even going so far as to consider themselves sisters. After learning the truth Velvet decides to teach their ‘dad’ a lesson in not underestimating the power of mischief which unfortunately for Vlad becomes a serious problem because she’s just as smart as he is.

Satisfied with the results of their shenanigans, Velvet shocks Dani/Ellie by suggesting they let bygones be bygones and become a real family. She really loves Dani/Ellie and genuinely doesn’t understand why Vlad did all those things just to throw her away when he HAD a half-ghost child who loved him more than anything. And she refuses to meet the same fate, arguing that this time he can’t get away with it because they DO share their DNA which means if she really wanted to she could blackmail him into oblivion by going public and accuse him of being a bad parent since she’s just as good of an actor too.

You’d think this would make Vlad furious, however, he finds himself impressed by Velvet’s cunning and agrees. Of course, Dani/Ellie isn’t so sure about all this but Velvet swears to protect her no matter what. Think of this as badger-cereal but with clones of Vlad and Danny who want to take care of each other. Idk, maybe its a silly idea, maybe not. Either way I thought it was cute at least!

Again, I’m not sure if I’ll keep the name Velvet but here’s some concept art of her for you guys! She’s a female clone of Vlad using the same methods used to create Dani/Ellie which is why they look so similar. He also stabilized her using a mid-morph sample from himself to avoid the same “flaws” Dani/Ellie had before Danny fixed her using one of his parents inventions...

Problem is, Velvet is just as intelligent as her Papa (Vlad has her call him that so he’s not reminded of the failed Danny clones) and puts the pieces together after being sent to eliminate Dani, the last remaining clone of Danny. They become fast friends though in spite of everything since the fight was more like a ghost-powered game of tag since they were so evenly matched and Velvet decided on her own to find out more about this long-lost sister of hers so to speak.

This whole plan of Vlad’s backfires when Velvet demands to have the three of them become a real family since she wants Dani/Ellie to stay and be her twin sister. She wants to protect Dani/Ellie, go to school together, train together, and thinks her Papa was an idiot for not seeing what a valuable treasure he was throwing way. And Velvet knows how to push Vlad’s buttons in just the right way to get what she wants since they share everything from their DNA to their selfish desires, and keeping her clone sister around is something Velvet refuses to budge on even for him.

Originally Vlad was only going to play along until he found some other way to get rid of that pest before she turned Velvet against him too, but after seeing how well they get along and how determined Velvet is to show Dani/Ellie the perks of staying and giving Vlad another change to do what’s best for her and their family, he gradually gives up on the idea. He never pictured himself as the father of two little girls for obvious reasons, yet Vlad soon discovers he’s surprisingly good at it because anything his little princess wants, she gets. It’s not as much of a struggle to win her love as long as he makes up for the one big mistake in her eyes to reject Dani/Ellie in the first place when she wanted to please him just as much until Vlad snapped and basically told her she was nothing but a disposable tool in his eyes.

Just t be on the safe side, Vlad tutors them both privately at home since he’s not ready to reveal Velvet to the public yet. Of course, Velvet taken matters into her own hands to make sure that if he tries anything funny she’ll go public herself and ruin his hard-earned reputation with a few crocodile tears. Short of that, with Dani’s help they know how to pull the best twin-like pranks to keep Vlad on his toes. Gotta keep the man humble after all if he plans on staying continuing to be a father of his own little nightmare child who loves him dearly but isn’t afraid to make her demands known.

Of course you know I had to draw Velvet’s ghost form too. It took me a while to settle on a hair style so this is kind of a weird mix of Dani’s and Spectra’s since I didn’t want her to look too much like Vlad with full on horn shaped hair. As for the outfit, Vlad designed it to copy the Red Huntress, aka Valerie’s upgraded look out of spite once they officially became enemies after the events of D-Stablized. Like Velvet may want Dani/Ellie to forgive Vlad and vice versa, but if Valerie ever goes after her papa then the claws will come out, or fangs in this case. She will literally fight like a little vampire and use this special energy draining power from biting her ghostly enemies as a sort of nod to the original idea of Vlad being more of a vampire.

Velvet has quite the sweet tooth too and loves it when Vlad bakes sweets for them or cooks dinner himself. When that happens Velvet actually enjoys being papa’s little helper in the kitchen, floating around and phasing her hands through shelves to grab what they need. She’s a bit of a glutton too and always asks for seconds. It’s hard not to be when offered such rich delicacies lovingly made by your billionaire papa.
