Ooo... It's hard to choose between "I almost lost you" kiss or "We can never be together" kiss but I decided to go with the former. Thank you for the ask, here we go:
"He is all ready to go," the doctor turns to address Keith with a firm, pointed look, "You must go easy. I know you have an universe to save but you can't do much saving if you are too injured because of your rashness."
Keith nods his head before I speak up, "I'll keep an eye on him."
The doctor nods his head before speaking, "Make sure that you do," and with that final piece he leaves the room.
As soon as the door shuts I move to Keith's side and just take a good look at him. The bandages wrapped around his ribs are concerning like his arm in a sling. I look up to meet his warm eyes as I catch sight of his head wound, a criss-cross bandage covering it up. I reach up to touch it but he gently grabs my wrist before I can reach his injury.
He pulls my hand closer to him before he turns my hand palm side up and lightly kisses my wrist. I exhale softly at the calming motion. He doesn't lean back, just rests his lips on my skin as I calmly remind myself that he's not dead.
He finally releases my hand before he leans back and spread his arms in invitation to join him. I bite my lip in hesitation but all he needs to say is "Please, Katie" and I'm climbing into the bed with him.
I snuggle into his side before I shift my head that's laying on his shoulder to face him as he looks down at me. I raise my hand to the side of his face and lean up to kiss him. It's faster than a slow kiss but not rushed or frantic. Just something to remind me that Keith is still alive.
After a moment we both separate as we lean our foreheads together, mindful of his head injury.
"I'm not going anywhere," he whispers, "You cant get rid of me that easily," he smirks and I huff out a small laugh before I somber up.
"Dont do that to me again. I cant lose you."
He grabs my hand and lightly squeezes it, "You won't. I'm with you until you and I grow old together watching our Voltron family grow."
I tip my head back and lightly nip at his lip, "I love you,"
"I love you more."

Meanwhile, the Garrison have assigned each Paladin an envoy to aid them any way they can, enter Liliana Cooper, a shy girl who catches the eye of a certain Paladin.
