It’s an exciting Saturday! Another cycle of Vocalo Storytelling began today at the Little Village bureau. This is the second workshop featuring stories en español from Chicago’s diverse communities. We teamed up with the Chicago Community Trust for this workshop to produce stories on community philanthropy. Stay tuned for the progress of our stories that will explore the literature en español in Chicago, women’s peace circles in Rogers Park, breastfeeding activism by Latinas, Little Village’s after-school programs, the life of an undocumented activist and architect and other great stories.
