Would it be recommended to do voice masculinization surgery before or after T?

if you plan to do it, definitely after T, because you can anticipate quite a bit of change after T.  you may find that you don’t even need or want it after you’ve been on T for a length of time (several years).  You want to give your vocal cords time to fully mature before you have surgery to augment them. mod mayhem

Wow I’m late on this. I just found out they have voice surgery. That’s especially awesome for trans people.

I had an appointment at my trans clinic today, Not only did they increase my prescription of estradiol to 5mg from 3mg (thats over 50% more holy shit) But they also gave me a referral for voice feminization surgery!! Today has been a great day, Which is something i really needed cause shit was kinda rough for a little while there ._. Good vibes though, I hope you're all having a great day, too!

Voice

Got my voice surgery with Yeson booked for May 16th!!!!!!! I'm so excited, and I'm going to be documenting it all. P.S. I know many of you believe my voice is good, passing, etc. I agree, it's definitely good for passing, etc. But for me personally, I am not happy with it, think about it daily, and makes me uncomfortable to talk. So I'm getting the surgery for my benefit. I think that's how it should be with any non-life threatening surgery. Whether it be plastic surgery, etc, do it for yourself, and you don't need to justify it to anyone else. If you have any questions about Yeson, etc, I'll do my best to answer them :)
