Bachisagi and Kainess

I have so many thoughts and feelings about both of these ships and how similar they are, it's driving me crazy. So I'm gonna spit it all out here into the void, because I don't see enough people talking about these ships together.

So, let's start with the easy stuff. Isagi Yoichi and Michael Kaiser. What lovely little foils these two are. When they first meet, Kaiser thinks of Isagi as nothing more than another ant to crush. An overeager, dime a dozen, promising striker that will fail to live up to his potential after being beaten into the ground. At the same time, Isagi is looking for his next target. Now, he's not as loud about it as Kaiser is, of course, but even if Kaiser hadn't come in and immediately zeroed in on Isagi, they would have been tied together regardless. Through the whole manga, you've seen Isagi trying to level up to become the world's best striker. How does he do that? By picking the strongest person in the room and "devouring" them. Kira, Barou, Nagi, Rin, all of them were at one point the strongest player Isagi had ever met, before he beat them. Not to mention that high that Isagi started getting way back when in the First Selection.

Now, with that being said, there is of course a huge difference between how they both go about crushing their victims. Kaiser's approach is more about complete desolation, while Isagi's actually tends to be more inspirational. Again, you see this in the manga over and over as the opponents that Isagi beats, tend to stick around, and just get pushed to try harder next time. Niko, Barou, Nagi, all of them were inspired to do more after their loss. Even Rin begrudgingly acknowledged that Isagi had pushed him to try harder.

But that's another topic for another void rant. Let's move onto the two I never see anyone talking about together. My boys, my loves, my geniuses, my CAMs:

Bachira Meguru and Alexis Ness.

"But, wait!" You say. "Bachira is a striker!" Yes, yes, he can still be a striker for Barcha, but if Isagi is on the team, he's going to be the CAM. And even before Blue Lock, he was giving out exceptional passes and trying to make plays. The players on his team just couldn't keep up with them or the plays he was trying to create, leaving him to having to do everything alone.

So. Ness and Bachira. Let's talk about them. They have strangely similar childhoods; both lonely, both creating imaginary worlds to escape from that loneliness, finding solace when they discover soccer. And then. Then, they both get their one chance to chase their dreams, and they find there a kindred spirit. Someone with whom they can share the joys of playing soccer with.

And they latch onto these people. Because, for the first time in their lives, they don't feel alone anymore.

Now, here's where I think it gets really interesting. Because Ness was groomed by Kaiser, intrinsically tying their egos together. And I think that Bachira and Isagi would have become very, very similar to them if the 2nd Selection didn't happen.

By the time 2nd Selection rolls around in Blue Lock, Bachira has fully decided to commit to playing with Isagi, even going so far as to immediately assume that they will form a new team. Of course Isagi goes along with it, because they're boyfriends, and when they go up against the Top 3 and Rin, Bachira is the one who is taken with no guarantee that Isagi will be able to make it through to steal him back. This time apart, coupled with the game in which they have to play against each other, forces Bachira to have to choose what he wants his ego to be. And in this, he chooses to rely on himself.

Which I think mirrors Ness' own growth during the PXG game....

Ness specifically chooses to change, to grow. And while yes he is still hoping it is Kaiser who receives the pass, this is him finally coming into his own as a player. He chose to showcase his own abilities rather than dilute them for Kaiser's sake, therefore awakening his true ego.

I think moving forward we are going to see Kaiser and Ness as more equals, more in the same vein that Bachira and Isagi are currently. I'm really looking forward to their return together in the manga.

I have so many more things I could talk about with these four characters, but I fear this post is already long enough. Please feel free to let me know what you think! Am I crazy? Am I on to something? Only time will tell I guess!

So I'm doing my first stardew Valley playthrough and it been fun!

I knew going in this was a romance/dating game.

I've already axed a lot of ppl.

The football guy is ok I guess. I like to give him eggs lol but he's clearly meant to get with Haley

The only 4 singles that interest me are

Shane. He's been SUPER easy. Just give him a beer and he loves you

The 3 I'm ACTUALLY interested in are Abigail (girl stop eating the rocks I give you) Sam (oh yeah pizza time!) and Sebastian (please leave your room seb I have presents)

-What made you ship it? Ooof okay this is a long story! So way before I ever touched the ff7 games, I was a wee little lad that knew ff7 though dissidia (opera omnia to be specific). I would often spend hours googling ff fanart and I came across a bunch of Sephiroth art. Ofc latter I found sefikura, and what really inspired me were the doushinjis. I would obsessively google sefikura art and read fanfics as I started getting into ff7, as they were kind my “spring awakening” if you will! All jokes aside, their toxicity, their bond through shared cells, and Cloud’s awesome fight scenes with him WOULD HAVE ME SHAKING!!! AC was the first ff7 media I ever consumed and OH MY GOD, their fight scene and build up and all that, and Cloud carrying Seph’s mark through geostigma and I can’t LMFAO. I think especially after I consumed Advent Children it has altered my brain chemistry forever and yeah, huge rant. Also more personal stuff tied to them since they’ve let me explore things from a safe distance, specifically with my art.

-What are your favorite things about the ship?

I love their Advent Children timeline relationship the most/ but then again my opinion changes pretty frequently. For more specific things, I already said a little bit above but Cloud sharing a genetic structure with Sephiroth IS SO FRIKING COOOL RAAAA (like no matter what they do they are always tied to each other, and Cloud carrying Seph’s cells in his body is just EVERYTHING)! Like, Sephiroth can always use Cloud as a ladder to come back to life, while Cloud has to keep fighting him off over and over, so so good. Oh and puppet!Cloud, specifically Cloud having Seph’s slits is way to cool like stop. The tension between them as well, like for me Cloud doesn’t want to admit to himself he likes Seph and they go throw toxic stuff together it’s this whole thing. And the most Void thing ever is the sword fights, like come on. I think I said this to a mootie but as a kid I would imitate the sword sounds in Advent Children. I am just very very normal about them (I’ll just say that since I gets pretty embarrassing if you’re in my head lol)

-Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Hmmmm, as you can probably tell I have a lot of thoughts about them. I would just say the stakes are more interesting when Cloud still has some control with Sephiroth, because if Seph removes all of Cloud’s control it feels very boring. I guess I also have no interest in time travel Cloud or a redemption for Seph. I need to get into the habit but I think people should write Cloud’s name as Kuraudo and Seph’s as Sephirothsu but that’s just me being cringe and free. :)

My immense hatred for this controller only grows. Barely lasts two hours unplugged, and drifts like it's thirty years old and not three months. Yes I have reset the damn thing, gonna do it again. Either way it's a piece of shit technology that Sony should be ashamed of.

I don't know how I met most of my moots.

The first few were all Kai, Kai, Kai2, K4i, and Kai.

then along came me actually using the internet and ppl started reblogging things and I met some people and it just kinda went on form there( meeting people being they reblog me, I reblog them, eventually become moots, never speak to eachother)

Halloween boopening started a chaos I don't even want to unpack. Like, three different moots from that, one of which I think was from it but can't be sure, ended up becoming a reblog moot(what I call a moot that comes into my house and sells things), and now I don't know anything anymore.

Honestly Minecraft rp and fan blogs is just one big Mafia family. I found one roleplay blog, saw it interacting with other roleplay blogs, found fanblogs, the fanblogs interact with more fanblogs, they're all apparently mutuals, they all know each other, they all know this one specific artist that gifts them art from time to time, and within all that is a couple of mutuals I stumbled upon. I literally just clicked a random button and became mutuals with someone and got blasted in the face with a bunch of other blogs. Idk how it happened. They all got ties, its one big mafia family.

And then there's the two other reblog moots that I became moots with because they're cool and I just realized i'm actually not moots with one of them they just reblog my posts.

I’m home! I just got back after a long 2 week trip and summer is truly starting for me now! Yay!!! Guys need to give me motivation tactics for art

Also so happy I’m back on my tablet because I had to leave it for the trip…now I can actually look at my mooties blogs cuz I’m an old man and need the big screen :)
