I know everyone’s seen the “Superman writes about lead pipes in metropolis” post, but has anyone considered Superman writing about endangered animals and conservation because he understands what it means to be one of the last of your species?
Have not watched the movie nor read the book but from Tumblr posts alone what I'm getting is that Rocky and Grace to Project Hail Mary are what Ryley and Sea Emperor are to Subnautica
sometimes I feel bigger than my body like I'm going to explode into something bigger like I'm going to show people my worth our worth that's when I feel most like a woman
Since I pretty much finished Silksong (aka got all endings but 1 and 100%-ed it), here's some random thoughts that came to mind:
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILER WARNING UNDER CUT
☆ Hornet had to ascend first to descend and save the kingdom/Ghost had to descend first to ascend and save the kingdom
☆ Hornet's cloak is less bright in Hollow Knight because Ghost sees it that way (evident by it matching colors with Hollow Knight whenever Grand Mother Silk screams and the colors dull)
☆ Ghost is majorly in control of Shade Lord form and didn't exactly unify all of the void but rather all of the vessels (evident by the Sister of the Void ending)
☆ Hornet is much more flexible and acrobatic in her movements than Ghost
☆ Hornet falls asleep immediately and occasionally glances up to check her surroundings/Ghost waits a long time before literally being knocked out
☆ It was incredibly unusual to hear Hornet actually respond back to npcs or even start the conversation first
☆ She's much more polite than fanon used to portray her before?
☆ Weavers are assholes
☆ Hornet and Lace are my daughters fr
☆ Very nice that Grand Mother Silk helped Hornet escape even if it was for the benefit of her child
☆ I LOVE COGWORK CORE DUDE
☆ Literally everything about it. The Cogwork Dancers, the place itself, THE OST!!! Awesome
☆ Flea Dodge is my personal fucking hell
☆ Can't decide between Hornet being closer in age to a young adult or a teenage girl. Evidence for both is present
☆ Shakra is literally the best. Hornet's 4th mom for real (did not have the chance to fight her soz... yeah)
☆ Now we know what it felt like to be Hornet during Hallownest's collapse except she had it worse than what we saw
☆ I love Styx.
☆ The Clover Dancers did make me bawl my eyes out btw.
☆ Hornet my beloved
☆ I thought Pinstress was literally just fucking dead before I saw the wish and was like 'wait why isn't it complete?? I saw her literal corpse and tried Needolin what the fuck more do you want from me?'
☆ I HATE BILEWATER I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT DIE DIE DIE
☆ THAT STUPID ASS FUCKING BOSS TOO RAAAAAAAH
☆ The new enemies in Abyss and Putrified Ducts are terrible horrible nightmare fuel (as in: I hated them because they are well done)
☆ The Fleas are cute but I hate their stupid games. The only one that becomes fun when you adapt to it is Flea Bounce or whatever it's called. The other two are just annoying especially Flea Dodge ESPECIALLY if you're trying to beat Seth
☆ There's pretty much only 1 thing the game can lock you out of and it's an ending that you have to do before finishing a quest. Moving onto Act 3 without completing some of my other business in previous acts did not lock me out of 100%-ing the save

☆ My initial thought on why everything does double damage was that the first game's enemies just go easy on us because we're very small and potat and a baby. And Hornet at the very least looks like a teenager/young adult so that doesn't work for her. Still could be plausible because the world Is Not Kind to teenage girls /j
