I actually think Star Trek Discovery completely understands that Section 31 is bad and terrible, especially with the whole “everything in season 2 is their fault” thing, and the only times it falters is when it wants specific main characters, namely Ash and Georgiou, to look cool.

Also where the fuck is my man Ash’s strange new worlds guest star episode he’s like the only Disco character not in the 32nd century bring him back the fuck

Mirror Voq is so fascinating to me. I hope Ash took some time later to think back on it. After all, the sacrifice to be carved into a human was so horrific. He essentially killed himself to maintain the Klingon empire.

But it is Mirror Voq who is a Klingon in both appearance and soul. Kahless truly guides him. While Prime Voq was led astray by T'Kuvma to be a zealot.
