now i know the election is kinda important okay but can we just talk about how ALL OF MY TV SHOWS WERE CANCELLED TO SEE WHO WILL LEAD US INTO THE NEXT AGE OF 2-YEAR RUINATION
America is now controlled by a bunch of republicans. We're all gonna die.
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result.
The House and Senate have done next to nothing while in republican control yet the American people voted to keep them in power. So according to my definition America is a land of the mentally insane. The REAL AHS: Asylum. =_= *and that season wasn't all that great either*
I'm the girl who spends the rest of the night watching national election coverage.
Then will spend the morning watching the analysis on air and online.
Happy election day folks! Go out and vote if you're registered and if you're not registered you should do that for the next election
Yes your one vote isn't that important and yes voting is economically disadvantageous but remember this--if you ever feel like you're not being represented by the government it's because less that 30% of people 18-28 vote. The people most likely to vote are middle aged white people.
Can you imagine what this country would look like if 90% of people 18-28 voted? Gay marriage wouldn't be an issue. Marijuana would be legal (no more "war on drugs"). College would probably be free.
So yes one vote doesn't make that big of a difference, but if a majority of young people decided to vote the government would look a lot different.
