Pokemon Wiwa you say??
head in hands i am brainrotting so hard over vcraft rn it's actually a little sickening. the bit towards the end of day 9(?) at the monastery w vetruvius, violet, kalvin and royale.....chills.... something something the way that at his core vetruvius is a scared traumatised boy at the mercy of his father whose name he carries like an albatross, and whose legacy haunts and controls him... really what he wants is security and safety and to assuage the lonely boy in his heart who was ridiculed but he's so doomed !!! and damned !!! and he dug the grave himself !!!!
and yet violet gives his the luxury of respite, and royale believes (partly) in the justice vetruvius seeks,, and kalvin.... feeling ill just thinking about kalvin tbh i was watching most of this unfold through his pov and my god (my word!!!!)

perhaps this is not the popular consensus but re: malim losing his memories and not gaining them back (as far as i know lol, i haven't watched the ova vod yet), i really appreciate that. i think malim regaining his memories would have felt a little cheap, and that there were no lasting consequencess to the conflict. im not even someone who Likes amnesiacs as a trope much at all—i think it can feel cheap and come out of left field—but in the enchanted realm where death is inconsequential, someone losing their memories and just coming back a different guy, not your guy, was really effective and heart wrenching. so i am v much a fan of how kalvin and malim's story concluded; a little bittersweet, but undoubtedly hopeful
