Spoilers for Infinity Alchemist
I like that Ramsay's execution is happening on he/him time. Like, from a writing point of view.
Media is full of male characters being all stoic and don't show fear and all that. Yes, Ramsay is trying to be that. But he's failing. He's crying, he's scared, he's devastated.
And of course he is! The one thing he feared is happening. He's seen as just like his parents. The people are screaming for his death when he tried everything to prevent a second Snowdrop.
On top of that, one of his boyfriends got arrested alongside him and his other boyfriend is missing and he has no idea what happened to him. Was Ash captured? Is he dead? Is Callum being tortured by his own father? Couldn't he even save the people he loved the most?
Oh, yeah, and he's about to be executed. Even with rebirth from Source, that is fucking terrifying! You can't expect anyone to stay calm through that!
Long story short, male characters often aren't allowed to be vulnerable. And while Ramsay isn't male, he's male-presenting in that moment and that's what counts for this point.
Under all that muscle and sinew lies soft and tender parts in a vulnerable man. Only spineless men think it’s a weakness to wear their heart on their sleeve. It takes strength and character for a man to unbutton his soul and show you his tender bits. And let’s face it, women love seeing those tender parts of you that you don’t always show to everyone. It’s the new sexy.

Found this show a few days ago and I absolutely needed to gif it!
Lots of hurt/comfort scenes and the actors are so good that I couldn’t stop watching AND it lasts all season long 😍(just have to warn though that some scenes might be painful or hard to watch for some people)
