13. List any headcanons you have about any characters. From the SU ask meme.

Some random headcanons:

Priyanka’s family are first generation immigrants from the Indian Islands. She’s been living in the states since she was a little girl. Her, Doug, and Connie travel abroad to go visit extended family over there every few years.

Greg has been dealing with awful anxiety for years, and finally began to seek assistance in managing this after Steven started to go to therapy.

With all her pinpoint precision Pearl’s actually an excellent cook even if she almost never eats. Everything Steven knows about cooking that’s not waffle irons and microwaves comes from her. 

Garnet also doesn’t eat often, but she has a secret sweet tooth. Shh, don’t tell the others! ;)

Any Gems are capable of storing items in their gemstone, but all pearls are even more adept at it- and have far more internal “storage space,” so to speak. This is a leftover feature of their intended “purpose” from when they were initially being made during the height of the empire.

At some point before the episode Last One Out of Beach City, Steven actually did buy pink hair dye and mix it up on his own in the bathroom... but backed out of trying to dye his hair after a while staring at himself in the mirror. This is why he knows how stinky dye smells in the aforementioned episode. (Ahahah, he would’ve needed to bleach it first for the color to show up well, anyways XD)

After honing her new abilities Yellow Diamond offered to change Spinel’s appearance however she wanted, but after some deliberation Spinel eventually chose to remain how she is. Even though her current form is a visualization of the trauma she faced, she’s grown to find some small slice of solace in the person she is now, even the parts touched by that sorrow and grief and anger. She doesn’t want to pretend that any of this never happened.

💏 Who is your OTP? 

Thank you for asking! To the surprise of no one, my OTP of OTPs is Alistair x Cousland. I know Cousland is always an OC so there’s a lot left ot interpretation, but I love everything about them. They’re a battle couple, they support each other, and at least in my worldstate, they become an almost unmatched political powerhouse once they’re married. I also love the AU potential for them, because there are so many ways they might have met outside of the canon events of the game - the Couslands could have visited Arl Eamon when they were children, Alistair might have been acknowledged from the beginning and grown up in the royal court, he might have become a guard instead of a templar and met her at the Landsmeet, the possibilities are endless.

Honourable mentions: Zuko x Katara from Avatar, and Carrot x Angua from Discworld (which has so many similiarities to my version of Alistair x Cousland it’s scary)

6. Favorite character design and why?

It’s probably a toss-up between Steven and Jasper in SUF. But not because they’re my two favourite characters, though they are.

I like Steven’s fluffy round appearance, he always looks so cute and huggable, shaped like a friend, and I especially like the fact that they weren’t afraid to dress him in pastel colours. I particularly liked his blue shirt in the movie, I don’t mind his black shirt, but seeing him in all pastel made him so pleasant to look at if that makes sense. Pink, light blue, and yellow looked really good on him for some reason. And his varsity jacket was such a good design choice, I don’t know why but I really love it.

Jasper’s design just has all of my weaknesses, she’s tall, she’s got that long shaggy hair, she’s so buff, she’s got striking sharp eyes, and her gem nose. And the horns and green accents only added to her look. What can I say I like tall buff ladies, the taller and buffer the better, and no one was taller and buffer than Jasper.

Their designs are almost complete opposites, but to be fair I like them for opposing reasons haha.
