Customer from Barrow in Furness with his Vw T4 2.5tdi 88bhp. Customer wanted our twin stainless exhaust system with quad oval tail pipes, and of course a Pendle remap to go with it. This one was 102bhp and 212nm of torque. But once set up and tuned file installed we see a rather nice 135bhp and 284nm. Customer on his T4 was so excited about getting his remap he turned up 48 hours early lol 😆 So cliff came to us earlier in the year with his T4 2.5tdi 88bhp and it made an amazing 42bhp with lots of little issues. Sent him away with a list of things to be done and he’s been back today to complete the setting up and tuning. So this one came in at 42bhp and 84nm.!! YES 42bhp. So today we managed a rather nice 153bhp and 337nm torque. So that’s an increase of 111bhp and 253nm torque.!! Poorly T4 2.5tdi 102bhp in for sorting out. As you can see this had a issue and into limp mode with reduced power. Now set up correctly it’s perfect. 98bhp 221nm and dropped into limp mode. Nice to do a bit of old school tuning. These Vw T4 1.9TD don’t have a ecu (engine control unit) so no remapping but they can still be tuned and tune very well. This one came in and we fitted our stainless steel single exhaust system with a oval top so stock power is higher than normal at 70bhp and 133nm torque. Now all tuned and set up it’s doing a healthy 93.9bhp and 176nm torque. One nicely sorted Vw T4. This work can be done at our place here at PpTuning Louth or TH Performance on the south coast. A really nice loverly condition early (95’) Vw T4 2.4 non turbo in today for tuning. This one has had a turbo conversion undertaken, and all done really well with the customer doing a fab job of the work involved. Tuning wise of course these don’t have a ecu so it’s good old fashioned mechanical setting up and fine tuning while using the maha rolling road. Once we have a base run and we put the vehicle into service mode we can set about adjusting the fuel, the turbo actuator and tickover. After several small adjustments and getting the fueling and boost set just right we end up with 93.6bhp and 191nm torque. Up from 74bhp and 153nm.
