With her new power, Blue is kinda like a... giant anti-depression pill?
i honestly think her power should be enjoyed by others to limited times cause otherwise, it IS a fucking drug lol
but like. im so happy that Blue herself is happy and that she wants to share her joy... i feel like all the diamonds v badlywant to fix the damage they had done and theyre not considering themselves too much here, they just want to give. my teeth hurt from how sweet it is.
this could be unhealthy in some cases, but in the diamonds' case... not so much. they did cause so much damage to their gems that i think the only way they could ever start to forgive themselves is by trying their absolute hardest to make those they hurt happy.
Yours is naturally my favorite version, but Disney's BATB has the nice detail of Beast changing and NOT needing Belle to hold his hand to make him do the right thing. He DIDN'T kill Gaston for the simple reason that he just didn't feel like it. Not because Belle told him not to. If you only change to please someone else then you are sorta selfish.
I think the 1991 Disney film is one of the most solid, entertaining versions out there. It’s a marvelous piece of filmmaking with so much thought put into it!
Im a fan of future eps, so maybe something teen/adult Bart and Lisa related?

It was another Thanksgiving at the Simpsons house, and another late night where Lisa, now 28 years old, sat up in the TV room, flipping through the different movies on demand. She’d been having insomnia the last couple of nights that she chalked up to jet lag, and so she found herself down here most nights that week, watching movies in the dark. A bottle of wine was always at her side to fill a glass or two.
As she flipped through the different selections on Disney+, a figure came into the room, and she looked over to see Bart coming in, dressed in his pajamas as well as he took a seat beside her.
“Can’t sleep either?” she said.
“Nah. I’ve been up texting Jenda, and it’s bumming me out. What are you doing down here?”
“Jet lag.”
“Oh, yeah, right.”
Lisa kept flipping through the recommendations while Bart reached over and poured himself a glass of wine. “Any requests?”
He shook his head and sat back, slouching low, drink in hand while Lisa gave up on searching and just played whatever came up.
“Frozen 2?” Bart couldn’t help but snort a little while he took a sip.
“What? I like it.”
“Of course you do.”
“You liked it too, Bart. I remember you singing songs from the first one when you took Maggie to see it.”
“It was catchy. Sue me.”
“There’s some catchy ones in this one too.”
“I’ll be the judge of that.”
They watched the first several scenes in silence, until Bart spoke up again.
“I’m surprised you never took Maggie to see this movie. The first one. It’s a sister movie.”
“I was busy that weekend she wanted to go. I wanted to, but the schedules didn’t match up.”
“Sounds like I got to be the best big sister that weekend.” Bart finished his glass and went to pour another.
“Yeah, I guess.” Lisa’s voice dropped, a little depressed, although it could have just been the late night hour. Still, Bart was concerned and asked her about it, if anything to hear someone else’s problems rather than his own, and she leaned back to stare up at the ceiling. “I don’t know,” she continued. “I feel like I was absent a lot for Maggie when she was getting older. I was so busy with school and internships, I really did miss out on a lot of things with her. At least the two of us grew up close in age, but I feel I wasted several years with Maggie.”
“Why don’t you talk to her about it when she gets here in two days?”
“I might.” She still sounded bummed.
“Aw, come on, Lis. She’s a cool kid, but don’t worry about it,” Bart assured her. “She knew you were busy and had better things to do than come back to this dump all the time. I mean if anything, she’s the one hanging out with me so I didn’t feel like a complete loser.”
“Still, it would have been a nice memory to have, being able to sing these songs with her and all.”
Bart finished his second glass of wine and pondered a moment…
“Guess I’ll have to be the best sister to you too,” he said, and he took the remote from her and put on the first movie.
Upstairs, Marge and Homer stirred awake with a loud commotion downstairs. They grumbled to themselves and got out of bed, putting on their robes to see what all the yelling was about coming from their adult children. As they crept down the stairs and made their way into the living room, Marge stopped Homer behind her, and she put her finger to mouth to keep him quiet. She pointed ahead, and he looked over her shoulder to see Bart and Lisa both smiling and having a good time with one another, singing and dancing along to the movie at 2am.
