Not to be all gross and sappy, but I’ve been thinking about that quote from the royal wedding a few years ago about the power and magnitude of love and how far it can reach beyond its roots- “Two young people fell in love, and we all showed up”
Like...that’s what happened here. Two people, who had no intentions past just being happy together, went and created an entire universe. Literally millions of people have come together and have somehow been affected one way or another by these two dudes having fun, living their lives, and being happy.
Do you ever just stop and think about that? These incredible bonds and friendships and relationships, some of which are the most important in our lives, all the paths that never would have crossed another way.... all because two people had enough on screen chemistry to film a video together.
Idk it’s just kind of mind blowing to really stop and think about. Because logically we know it. We know why we’re here and who started it all. But so much of what we do is for each other or the community as a whole. Sometimes it’s easy to forget none of this...literally none of it...would exist without Dan and Phil being Dan and Phil, and that’s kind of overwhelming. How two people can sincerely and quite literally alter the lives of millions.
I’m just very grateful to those two people right now. And that we all showed up.
