New Wahoo Kickr Bike Pro coming home. I’ve been looking for these to go on sale and finally saw an opportunity during a Wahoo summer sale event. It’s still a big pile of cash but I will be glad to take my precious road bike off its trainer and replace that with this stand alone trainer. Let’s GoZwift!
First time being able to get myself on my trainer and actually have enough knee flexion to bring the crank arm up and over for full revolutions. This is 8 weeks post ORIF femur surgery. The end of my 30cm scar just visible. Keeping low resistance for now but this is encouraging.

Will top out the year around 27,000km which is fair considering I was off the bike about 3 months due to hip replacement surgery and travel.
Warranty replacement for my Kickr arrived. Everything is set up for my recovery except for a bike 🤦🏻♂️ My build has been further delayed but the shop has offered me a demo bike to use in the interm which is a nice gesture. Will try and pick that up this weekend.
