Explains a lot
Ooh, finally! My prudish blog has gotten one of those false p0rn notices that everyone complains about!
I can’t link to the post, I guess because it’s in appeals, but it’s SFW and an ask that I reblogged from @waitingforthet.
Edit literally 5 minutes later: Oh, that was fast.
So anyway, Waiting for the Trade is the only Marvel or DC comic that has never disappointed me...
This is actually the exact kind of dad Fabian would be. Word for word. http://waitingforthet.tumblr.com/day/2015/09/03

ARE YOU OUT OF KNIVES TO THRUST INTO MY HEART
I'M GETTING OUT THE GOOD NOOSE
YOU COULD TRY MY GRAVE BECAUSE YOU'RE KILLING ME NO ONE WILL EVER LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS I DO
totallyrockingmypuddingpants, my friend freedomworm is having trouble with the colors of their computer monitor, so i gave them a couple of your scott’s-adventures-with-color comics, and:
waiting for the t: the comic thing
Captain America, I guess. I think I might be able to guess the OTP...
Oh hey, well first of all let me just say how much I love your comics, they always make me laugh. Sorry just thought I’d get the creepy fanboying out of the way now so I can move on to the meme.
My otp: I ship just about everyone with Steve, he’s just very shippable, and it doesn’t hurt that just about everyone in the Marvel universe, regardless of age sexuality or species, would totally bone him if given the chance. Right now I guess my main pairings are Steve/Wanda and Steve/Clint
My most hated pairing: Anything that pairs him with Coulson, or Fury, I just dislike those characters so much, also superfamily because Aunt May and Uncle Ben are perfect, peter doesn’t need Captain American and Iron Man to raise him. I also kinda dislike superhusbands, mainly because the fandom takes it so seriously. Also, Steve/Sharon=Never Not Creepy
My unusual otp: Like I said before, he’s really shippable, because he’s a genuinely nice and kinda boring person, and when you like a character you want them to end up with a dull but nice person. A week ago I thought him and Pepper would be interesting, a month ago I was intrigued by Steve/MCU-Loki, and after Iron Man 3 came out I was looking into Steve/Rhodey. I’m flexible
My crossover otp: Wondercap! C’mon what else is there? They both wear flag themed outfits, they both hate bullies, both love justice. Diana has a thing for blonde military men named Steve, and Steve has a thing for strong women who could kick his ass, so you know he’d have no problem letting himself be tied up in that magic lasso of obedience and playing kinky amazon bondage games. And yes, those bondage games are canon, thanks for that William Moulton Marston
My brotp/friendship otp: If I ship you romantically with Steve, than I ship you as friends too.
Character headcanon: Umm, let’s see, Steve’s favorite director is Frank Capra, whenever a new movie of his opened he always made sure he saw it, sometimes dragging Bucky along, sometimes going by himself and sitting through the movie several times a day. Capra’s blend of humor, patriotism, optimism, and righteousness is immensely appealing to Steve. Years later when he’s just been defrosted he comes across a Capra movie he’s never seen before, It’s a Wonderful Life. He’s so excited to find a name he recognizes in this strange modern world that he watches it right away, and for its runtime it does manage to make him forget his troubles, but when it ends Clarence’s last line “no man’s a failure who has friends” makes him feel depressed again, because he’s all alone in the modern world. When he watches it again a year or so later it’s with Clint and Tony and Wanda and the rest of the Avengers, and after the ending Steve thinks back to how lonely he was the first time he watched it, and how grateful he is to have his new friends and a new purpose in life.
A Gif that shows how I feel about the character:
