Artemis and Kid Flash showing concern over each other in battle and saving each other was so heartwarming. Even with Wally gone, they still see each other as family, and I love that.

Beautiful (Young Justice Spitfire)

Word Count: 200 Characters: Artemis Crock/Tigress, Wally West/Kid Flash (also their kids but they’re my ocs so just go with it) Author’s Note: I’m procrastinating at the moment so why not post some pre-written Spitfire because I can????

"Hey Arty."

Artemis shut her book and smirked at the redhead. "What is it, Baywatch? Did you break something?"

"I just wanted  to tell you that I think you're beautiful."

With a sharp intake of air, Artemis's face grew red, and she clutched the collar of her shirt above her heart, as if it suddenly became difficult to breathe.

Wally slid into the spot on the couch next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. He added the other arm too, now hugging her and pulling her close.

"I think you're beautiful and you're strong and brave. You're good with your bow and arrows and you're so much better than Roy."

Artemis smiled breathing in the scent of his flannel shirt.

"Wally..." Artemis placed her left hand on his chest.

"We're married."

Wally said nothing, but continued to rock her back and forth in his arms.

Artemis gestured into the family room, where screams of joy could easily be heard.

"We own a dog together, we have three daughters, and we adopted a little boy." She reminded him.

Wally smiled, kissing her forehead. "I know. I just thought that you needed a reminder  of how amazing you are, how much you mean to me."

Artemis sighed, finally allowing herself to smile contently. "I love you too, Wally."

Okay that final scene with Julian and Barry was actually really sweet and I’m looking forward to seeing their friendship grow.
