summary: You’re sick and your girlfriend Wanda takes care of you
“God I feel like I’m dying,” you say to nobody as you blow your nose into the tissue you’re currently holding. It quickly becomes a gross, soggy mess, but your nose is still as full as it was before.
You had woken up with a cough and you didn’t think much of it, but as the day went on you just kept feeling worse and worse. Now you were in bed with a cough, sore throat, shivers, stuffy nose, and stuffy ears. You must’ve caught Sam’s cold.
“Damn you Sam,” you think as you start to hack up a lung. You cough and cough, over and over again. By the time it finally stops, you’re left trying to catch your breath.
“Are you okay, detka?” Wanda asks as she walks into the room. She must’ve heard you.
“I will be once I kill Sam for giving me his cold,” you say before another coughing fit hits you.
“Is there anything I can do to make you feel better,” Wanda asks. She sits down next to you on the bed and brushes some hair out of your face.
“Could you kill Sam for me?” you ask, voice filled with hope that she’ll say yes.
“You know I can’t do that detka. How about I make you the tea my mother used to make? It always helped me when I was sick.”
“That sounds great, Wan. Thank you,” you say, hoping this tea soothes your sore throat.
“Of course darling. Anything to make you feel better,” Wanda says she lightly kisses your forehead before she leaves to go make you some tea.
She comes back a few minutes later, cup in hand, as she carefully makes her way towards you. She also holds some sort of cold medicine in the other hand.
“Here you go love,” Wanda says as she hands you the mug. You take a sip and it is the best thing you’ve ever tasted, plus it was soothing to your throat, coating it and leaving it feeling much better.
“Thank you Wanda. This is heavenly,” you say as you continue to drink the tea. You drink until it is all again and then hand your girlfriend the empty cup.
“I’m glad you liked it. Do you need anything else darling?” Wanda ask. She was always so attentive. It was one thing you love about her.
“No baby I’m fine. I just really need a nap right now,” you say. You lean backwards into the pillows behind you and pull your blankets up to your chin, trying to get as cozy and warm as possible. Your eyes are almost closed when you feel someone slide into bed with you.
“Wanda what are you doing?” you ask.
“I’m taking a nap with you,” she responds back as if the answer is obvious.
“But I don’t wanna get you sick.” You try to look serious, truly not wanting to get her sick, but your expression looks more like a pout than stern.
“You won’t get me sick love,” Wanda dismisses your concerns. “Being here for you is much more important than worrying about me getting sick.”
“Fine, but if I get you sick just know it’s not my fault,” you jokingly say, relaxing your body against Wanda. “But seriously Wanda, thank you for taking care of me.”
“Of course baby. Now go to sleep and wake me up if you need anything else,” Wanda says. She pulls you closer to her when she notices you shivering. Her body heat warms you up and you relax against her, content to fall asleep and let her hold you.
“I will, I love you.”
“I love you too,” you hear right before you fall asleep in your girlfriend’s loving embrace.
The Party is loud, very loud like every Stark party but only that this time it is a new years party. You can't see Natasha, so you couldn't talk to her, you can see how Sam, Steve and Bucky talk and how Thor is telling fight storys to other people. You don't really like partys and regret that you didn't take the offer to go with Clint and celebrate with his family. You think of going to your room and doing nothing but than you saw Wanda standing alone in the corner. You have a crush on her for a long time now but didn't tell her after what happend to her brother and then the thing in Lagos happened and you didn't want to bother her with your feelings so you were there for her as a friend.
You walk to Wanda and smile at her.
"Hey Wands, do you want to go outside and watch the firework."
"Don't you prefer to celebrate with the others?" she asks nervously
"Don't say something like that I would love to spend the last moments of the year with you and I don't even like partys." you say to her.
"I feel the same way and I would really love that." Wanda says.
"Okay then let's go." You say while taking her hand.
You are standing on the roof of the tower and watching the firework and think about the good times you had with the others this year.
"This is so beautiful " Wanda broke the silence.
"Yes, it is just like you" it quietly slipped out of your mouth and you hope Wanda didn't hear it.
"Did you just call me beautiful?" Wanda says and you begin to blush.
"Yes I did" You say and she begins to smile.
"You are also very beautiful y/n."
"One thing I've never done before and wanted to do for a long time is to kiss someone at Midnight at new years day." You say to her.
"I've also never done that before" she says with a grin.
"Would you like to be my new years kiss Wanda?"
"Yes, I would love that."
"How long till Midnight?" Wanda asks you
"Can't you wait for our kiss?" You tease her. Wanda begins to blush. You look at your phone to see what time it is, only 2 minutes till midnight then you will kiss Wanda.
You can both hear the countdown from downstairs and you start to get nervous.

She softly smiles at you, tucks a hair behind your ear, puts her hand on your neck and gives you a soft kiss. As you break the kiss you both smile at each other.
"Happy New Year." you both say at the same time.
"That was a beautiful kiss, we should do that more often." Wanda says.
summary: Wanda can't get enough to you, and she doesn't want you to go.
warnings: fluff, smoking, wanda being cheeky
"God, you're perfect," Wanda muttered.
One of her hands gripped the nape of your neck, and the other trailed up and down your thigh. She held you close, settled between your legs as you sat on the edge of the kitchen counter.
You were stuck. She held you close against her chest. Her lips trailed from yours, across your jaw, down your neck and back up. She tasted like honey, and the peppermint candies you liked to keep in your purse. Your hands snaked around her neck. You didn't want to move. You wanted to freeze time, and stay here, in Wanda's arms, forever.
"I love you," she whispered.
You couldn't respond. Her tongue against yours, swallowing the hums and moans of delight and appreciation. You were late. You were always late for everything, and Wanda was the reason why. The hand on your neck trailed down your spine, searching for the zip on your dress.
"No," you chuckled, swatting her arm away. "I have to go, I'm late."
"Call sick."
"Wanda, no. I can't bail on my boss's birthday party, what kind of assistant would I be?"
"A bad one," Wanda grinned cheekily.
"Off, Maximoff."
You pushed against her shoulders. She raised her hands in defeat. She backed away, and you carefully backed out of the kitchen.
"I'll be waiting for you," she winked as you shut the door.
She was indeed waiting for you when you got home. And it was late. The sun had long since set, and was due to rise in about an hour. You slipped off your shoes, undressing as you thudded to your bedroom. Wanda was bathed in golden light from the bedside lamp, her eyes barely open.
"Wanda?" you groaned. "Why are you awake, babe?"
"I waited for you," she grinned dopily.
You shook your head and tutted. But you curled up beside her anyway. She wrapped her arms around you, pulling you into her chest. She held your head in the crook of her neck and tangled your legs together.
Wanda hadn't closed the curtains when she got into bed, and so you woke up with the early morning sun burning your eyes, and only an hour of sleep. You groaned. You shivered. Wanda had rolled over and pulled the duvet with her. There was no getting it back. She snored softly, and was too pretty to wake. Her red hair splayed over the pillow, little glimpses of soft skin being lit by warm sunlight. She was sunshine.
You crept out of bed and into the living room, where you pushed open the big glass doors to the balcony, and shut them quietly behind you. You sat, cross-legged on the cold concrete as you pulled a cigarette out of the box, and used three matches to try and light it (your lighter broke last week and you keep forgetting to get a new one).
Wanda constantly chirped on about nails yellowing, and tooth decay, and cancer, but you only smoked on days like this, which didn't happen often. These early mornings when no one had to work, they came once in a blue moon. You inhaled, the smoke and the cold New York air hitting the back of your throat. It was refreshing. New York was a different city when everyone was asleep.
"what are you doing?" Wanda squeaked meekly from behind.
"Nothing, doll," you hummed.
Wanda padded out onto the balcony, leaving the doors open behind her, a terrible habit. She had the duvet wrapped around her shoulders.
"I can't sleep without you."
"You were sleeping just fine when I got up," you chuckled.
Wanda huffed as she began to settle on the floor next to you. She curled up under the duvet, resting her head in your lap.
Summary: Everything was falling apart in the outside world, but when she's with you, nothing could be more perfect.
Note: STOP TRAUMATIZING MY BABY MARVEL! LET HER BE HAPPY, OKAY!?! Anyway, let me know if you'd like to be tagged in my future works and send any requests you might have! :)
It’s soft, the sunlight that trickles from the windows, peaking through the airy pale curtains that lazily dance.
There’s a breeze in the room, so mellow and sweet that it feels more like the gentle caress of a lover. The room is quiet, nearly completely so, besides the slow and steady breaths Wanda takes, eyes firmly shut as she lies almost entirely motionless beside you. She’s angelic, with gossamer hair that’s messy and tangled, fanning around her pillow like a silken halo. The corners of her lips pull into a smile, cheeks flushing a rosy red that’s a stark contrast to her moonlight pale skin. Running wild in her dreamscapes full of unbridled bliss.
Like a star, she’s a celestial entity more complex than you could ever grasp, with a beauty that burns cold like ice. But when she smiles that radiant smile, eyes lit up with a grin that covers most of her face, she’s more like the sun. With threads of daylight that banish any darkness and demons. And she’s within reach, within your grasp at any given time
It's been months since the Avengers disbanded, and months since you and Wanda have been on the run. It's stressful, to say the least. Constantly having to be on edge takes its toll on you. Never feeling like you could relax, constant fear that you'd be caught and thrown back into prison. Paranoia follows you like a shadow, always visible in the corner of your vision. Everywhere you look, east and west, there's enemies, patiently waiting for a fuck up.
And sometimes you wonder what would've happened if you never did what you did; if you'd signed the Accords and left it at that. But those thoughts are immediately wiped away whenever you look at Wanda. Because no matter how hard the waves crash down on you, you could swim through anything with her by your side. She's a roaring fire that keeps your brittle heart warm, staving away resentment that would start to build inside of you. Because the Accords would've meant a life without Wanda, and that just wasn't worth the illusion of freedom.
You felt used, getting discarded the moment there was no more apparent use for you. It felt bitter, a sour taste lingering in your mouth. But Wanda never shows the same antipathy. She remains optimistic, focusing on what she has rather than what's been lost. Sometimes her integrity makes you feel small, like your bitterness is wasting her honor. And you've told her such. She would simply roll her eyes, and pull you close, washing away every fear with a single kiss. And then she'd reassure you, 'I'd never want anyone else; spite and all.'
And slowly, the layers shed, letting go of the past and putting all of your focus on now. Tightly holding onto the lazy mornings and quiet nights you share with Wanda. Cherishing every breathe you get to take with her near.
And in a weirdly twisted way, you were grateful to be on the run. If you were still an Avenger, sitting in the tower and going off on missions every other week, you wouldn't have these moments with Wanda. There would always be something more pressing, something more dangerous. But in the small little secluded home, tucked deep in the remote parts of Sokovia, there's only you and Wanda.
A sanctity of peace that is just for the two of you.
“Good morning.”
You turn your head, looking over at Wanda’s stirring form. Her green eyes, hazy from sleep, watch you like a child who’s just seen a puppy in real life. The pure unadulterated joy on her face, with a smile like daylight after a series of dark nights, has your heart fluttering wildly, like a bird stuck in a cage. But it’s a good feeling, a warm feeling you never want to forget or lose.
“Good morning,” you respond, a sweet giggle bubbling from your mouth, with a stupidly large grin stuck to your face. You lean down, planting a soft kiss on the corner of Wanda’s mouth, savoring the feeling of her soft skin on your lips. The smell of vanilla and peach invades your senses, leaving you dizzy in the head.
“Good morning.” Wanda whispers, voice raspy and hoarse, sleep lacing each syllable.
“You already said that.” You laugh, quietly, almost like you're afraid that any loud noises will break the secret world you’ve created with just the two of you.
“Did I?” Confusion crosses her face, nose scrunching up in the most adorable way, her head tilting slightly to the left, like a puppy dog.
“Yes, you did.” You can’t help the laughter that continues to bubble out of your mouth or the way your lips are permanently set in a wide smile.
“I guess that’s just the effect you have on me,” Wanda says, a matching grin pulling on her lips.
“Sweet talker,” you say, an accusing tone in your voice. But the smile on your face and the light in your eyes keeps the words from being harsh.
“I’ve been told I’m good with words.”
“Oh really?” You raise a brow, lips pulling into a smirk. Wanda simply nods, leaning her head closer to yours. The both of you lean closer until your foreheads meet, leaving their lips only centimeters apart. Neither of you moves closer, just allowing yourselves to get lost in the moment of peace. Both of you have been plagued by uncertainty the last few years, it’s nice to steal away these moments of calm while they can. Who knows when they’ll be taken from this heaven too. Thrown back into the reality of being superheroes in a world that seems to constantly need saving.
Your eyes are shut, breaths shallow, and falling in sync the longer they stay this way. You open your eyes first, tracing Wanda’s face with your eyes, committing each curve to memory. You notice faint freckles you’ve never seen before. They’re near invisible, not many of them littering her rosy cheeks. Without thought, you raise your hands, using the lightest touch to trace the freckles, connecting them as if they’re constellations. At first, Wanda tenses, the touch unexpected, but quickly she melts into it, sighing softly.
“Did you know you have the tiniest freckles?” you ask. “Right here,” you touch one of the freckles. “--and another here, here and here.” As you speak, you gently prod each spot, as if to emphasize your point.
“I did,” Wanda replies, eyes still shut. “They were more noticeable when I was a child. My brother used to constantly tease me for them.”
There’s a somberness in Wanda’s tone that is only ever reserved for speaking about her family. Pietro's death still follows her like a shadow, looming in the brightest of days. But it’s not as heavy as it used to be. You’ve alleviated some of the weight, breaking it down until it was bearable to carry. And she'll never forget that. Even if fate interjects, separating the two of you, the sun would always seem a little brighter because of you. A field of daisies covering her fondest memories of you.
“They’re lovely.” You lean forward, fingers gently moving to hold Wanda’s chin, you press your forehead against Wanda, the tips of your noses gently brushing. You relish in the feeling, Wanda’s breath becoming yours as your chests rise and fall in sync. Mild heat flashes through your body in the most pleasant way possible.
“Thank you,” Wanda whispers, the words tickling your skin, causing a faint giggle to bubble out of your mouth. Wanda watches you with a sweet smile and lovestruck eyes. This moment is perfect, and both of you wish they could stop time and stay here forever. But that’s not realistic, not with the cards they were dealt.
Silence encompasses the room again, neither of you speaking.
There is a delicateness in the quiet; a silence that only comes from two people who deeply understand each other. A calm and serene feeling floods the room. And you could spend years trying to put it into exact words how you feel, but you’d forever remain unsuccessful. It lulls you into security, sleep lurking in the corner of the room. Warm and fuzzy feeling cocoons the two of you like a blanket, holding you tightly together.
“What did I ever do to deserve you?” Wanda's voice is quiet. You open your eyes, silently watching her. Her eyes are still shut, face undisturbed, as if she never even spoke. But the question hangs in the air.
“What do you mean?” you ask. Wanda stretches her body, a soft sigh leaving her mouth as she does. Then her eyes are open, looking at you with a hazy gaze.
“I just, you’ll never have peace if you're with me. There’s always going to be something that will get in the way,” Wanda says, her voice somber, a crease in her forehead. She’s been thinking about this for a long time, it would seem.
“Hey, you forget that I’m an Avenger too. I can handle anything that gets thrown at us,” you say, desperate to quiet the fears in her head. You move closer, placing a hand on her cheek and tracing her face with the pad of your finger.
“I know you can handle aliens or arms dealers. But what about everything else. It's been years and I still don't understand my magic, it’s dangerous. I'm dangerous. What if I hurt you?” Wanda says.
“You won’t hurt me,” you say. fervor in every word you speak.
“You don’t know that,” Wanda says, the volume of her voice slightly rising. There's fear in her voice, desperation in her eyes. She doesn't want you to slip through her fingers like everything seems to.
“But I know you, Wanda,” you say, hand moving up her face, brushing away the stray red hairs that brush against her face. “And I know that I’d rather spend the rest of my life with you than get a guaranteed peaceful life with anyone else.”
She sighs, but says nothing else. Your brows furrow, fingertips dancing in her hair. It hurts to see her this way, so terrified that her happiness won't last. But you understand. Nothing good seems to last forever in her life.
"Talk to me Wanda. What's wrong," you say, speaking softly and gently. You want her to verbalize every fear, so you can wipe each and every one of them away.
She takes a deep breath, taking a moment to gather her thoughts. And patiently, you wait. You'd wait a million years if that's what it takes. All you care about is Wanda, and making sure that she's not falling apart on the inside.
"I've lost everyone else in my life. I can't lose you too," she whispers, a stray tear falling from her eyes. Quickly you wipe it away with the pad of your thumb. There's a somber look on Wanda's face, all her worst fears bubbling to the surface.
"You won't. You know me Wanda, I'm too stubborn to die," you say, a teasing tone lingering in your voice.
A bark of a laugh leaves her mouth as she sniffles. "You are the most stubborn person I know."
"Exactly," you say, smile as blinding as the blazing summer sun. "I don't know what will happen in the future, but I do know we have this moment. And I wouldn't trade this for the world."
Wanda’s eyes flutter shut, eyelashes delicately kissing the tops of her cheeks. She takes a deep breath, calming the heavy beating of her heart. Slowly, the tension leaves her body, the small creases on her forehead smoothing out. Then she slowly nods her head, opening her eyes a moment later.
“Do you mean that?” her voice is quiet, any doubt or fear completely erased from her tone. Instead, it’s hopeful, as the first rays of light after a lifetime of winter.
“I do.”
A large grin grows on her face and you mimic it. She moves closer to you, entangling a hand in your hair. Then her lips are on yours; soft like a feather and sweet like a fresh peach. The sensation is intoxicating, pulling you under like a sickly sweet wine. She lingers on your senses, even after she pulls away. You’d never be clean of her, even if a hundred years pass and you never see her again. It wasn’t terrifying in the way it used to be. Instead, it was soothing, to be so completely wrapped up in someone who reciprocated your intensity.
“I’m so lucky to have you,” you whisper, breath tickling Wanda’s face.
“Let’s just stay here forever,” Wanda mutters. You smile, the whisper of a giggle leaving your mouth. “Let’s never leave and forget that anything else exists.”
“Deal,” you say. “I love you.”
A million butterflies soar in your stomach, the smile on her face heart attack inducing. Her eyes are sparkling, reflecting ethereally in the soft light from dawn. You were never religious but if you were, you’d abandon it the moment Wanda entered your life. Without a thought you’d worship her like a false idol, losing all sense in her. You’d write a million poems all about her and it would still never be enough. But you’d do it, if that’s what it takes to help her understand just how weak and at peace she makes you feel.

Wanda Maximoff led a hard life.
From living in a tiny apartment with her family, their building in the center of war, to the loss of her parents and destruction of the structure she once called home, at the age of 10, the Sokovian had seen the many horrors of the world.
However, that was just the beginning. Wanda and her brother, Pietro, volunteered to an organization that had been conducting human experimentation; Hydra.
The pair felt obligated to bring some light into the darkest corners of the world. So, volunteering to be lab rats and possibly gaining unique abilities seemed like the right path to follow.
Hydra succeeded, gifting Wanda and Pietro with powers. Pietro could move at the speed of light, but Wanda’s powers were more intricate and complex.
There were no words to really describe her abilities. Mind control, telekinesis, and moving things with her mind, were some of the things she was capable of.
Then, of course, the Avengers and Ultron happened.
The Maximoff Twins initially sided with Ultron, unaware of his underlying catastrophic agenda. Truthfully, Wanda and Pietro didn’t necessarily despise the Avengers as a whole, only one of their front runners; Tony Stark.
A Stark missile was the cause of their parents’ demise and the young adults held a grudge ever since, and rightfully so.
However, the fate of the world was more important than revenge, and the twins begrudgingly switched sides to defeat Ultron.
Unfortunately, Wanda lost Pietro during the battle. The Sokovian didn’t even have time to fully process her brother’s passing, the destruction of her country following shortly after.
Wanda was at a loss. She had no family, no place to call home. She was alone and left to navigate a world without those she so desperately tried to hold onto, but they ended up slipping through her fingertips like silk.
The Avengers graciously took Wanda in. Although she was hesitant about the situation, Wanda didn’t really have any other choice; she had nowhere else to run to. Her only option was to live in a building owned by the man who took her parents away.
She felt like the world had it out for her and reflected on every part of her life, trying to pinpoint what she had done wrong; what she had done to deserve the constant losses. She fell short on reasoning though.
To Wanda’s surprise, her life took a turn for the better when she moved into the Compound; she met you.
You were an Avenger yourself, but had been away for personal reasons during the whole Ultron debacle.
So, when Wanda entered the Compound for the first time, you greeted her warmly.
Your bright smile and happy eyes were a stark contrast to the semi-judgemental stares she received from the rest of the team.
Of course, Wanda knew that your kindness was a result of your absence. You were the only one who didn’t fall victim to her powers, and she planned on keeping it that way.
There was something magnetic about you. As you showed Wanda around her new home, she clung to every word you uttered, reveling in your friendly behavior.
However, Wanda was petrified. She feared that as soon as you found out what she was capable of, you would run for the hills and impart the very same standoffish treatment that the rest of the Avengers provided her with.
Thankfully, she was wrong.
As the days turned to weeks, and the weeks turned into months, you had only grown closer to the Sokovian.
You took the liberty of training Wanda in hand-to-hand combat, meeting with her every morning to teach Wanda some self-defense.
Yes, she had her powers, but if for some reason her powers failed her, old-fashioned fighting was a good failsafe.
Wanda would have breakfast with you after every session. You would meet up in the living room and go out to eat or simply throw a meal together with whatever the two of you could find in the kitchen.
It was during those moments that Wanda learned about how awful of a cook you were.
Witnessing you use a plastic spoon in a piping hot pan was proof of your lack of kitchen knowledge.
So, Wanda was the one to cook food. She tried her very best to make the food amazing, wanting to impress you in any way she could.
Wanda didn’t understand her urge to be at her best around you. She wrote it off as her desire for a reliable friendship. You were the highlight of her days. Whenever there were boring team meetings, you would do your best to entertain the Sokovian.
Whether it was making funny faces or mocking Steve’s boy scout voice and mannerisms as he spoke in the front of the room, you never failed to make Wanda laugh.
Of course, the rest of the team scolded you two for the lack of professionalism, but their annoyance only served as fuel to your laughter.
Your friendship had its not-so-lighthearted moments as well. You were the only person that Wanda felt she could let her walls down around. She had spent countless nights in her room with you sitting quietly beside her as she confided in you.
The pain of losing her entire family never got any easier, but you were sure to be there for the Sokovian not only at her best moments, but her worst as well.
Before Wanda knew it, a year had passed since she joined the Avengers. She was in a much better place in comparison to before, having gained more control over her powers and finding sanctity in you. Your friendship blossomed, and Wanda found herself spending the majority of her days with you.
She would drag you shopping, literally drag you.
Wanda found your hatred for shopping amusing. You would trudge behind the Sokovian as she browsed around a clothing store, holding onto clothes that Wanda wanted to try on.
It was endearing, the pout that would make its way to your face as she threw another piece of clothing into your arms. It was hilarious, when you sat outside the dressing room, asking Wanda if she was done every five seconds.
The two of you would go to arcades together. Wanda loved how competitive you got. Whenever she beat you at a game, you wouldn’t quit until you finally won. The Sokovian even convinced you to do karaoke with her, much to your dismay.
Wanda was fairly good at singing, considering she used to sing Sokovian songs with her mother.
But you? You were absolutely awful, to say the least.
The Sokovian would laugh uncontrollably as your off-key singing met her ears. Despite your painful embarrassment, you enjoyed being able to bring a smile to Wanda’s face.
There really wasn’t anything you wouldn’t do for her; even if it meant making a fool out of yourself.
Wanda wasn’t completely clueless about her feelings for you. She was very aware of how different her relationship with you was from her other teammates.
She noticed how much she craved your attention and presence. The way her eyes scanned any room she entered, in hopes of seeing you, was painfully obvious.
But, Wanda didn’t exactly come to terms with her feelings because she didn’t fully understand them.
The only real relationships she had were with her family. She didn’t have the luxury of friendship in her life, let alone romance.
She was clueless when it came to that subject and honestly? It terrified her.
These thoughts plagued Wanda for months, somewhat battling herself in the fight for self-honesty.
It was a brutal battle, her mind fighting with her heart. However, a truce was finally called, the white flag waving back and forth gracefully.

Wanda’s eyes were trained on the television, but her mind was not. She couldn’t focus even if she tried. How could she when you were lying beside her, head on her shoulder as you breathed steadily?
You guys had been watching a movie together in Wanda’s room. About halfway into the movie, your head dropped onto Wanda’s shoulder, startling the Sokovian. Wanda was as stiff as a board the minute you made contact with her. She refused to move even an inch, not wanting to disturb your peace.
So, she tried her hardest to focus on the movie, but ultimately failed. With a sigh, her emerald eyes drifted down to your sleeping form. She was mesmerized by the scene.
Your long eyelashes were on full display with your eyes shut tightly. Small breaths escaped your lips with each exhale you took. Your hair was slightly covering your face and Wanda was quick to fix that, carefully tucking the strands behind your ear.
Wanda always appreciated your beauty, but she didn’t have a front-row seat quite like this before. Your guard was completely down and the brunette loved it. She liked that you trusted her enough to succumb to your slumber, finding comfort in her touch.
It was then, that Wanda really got to thinking. She had always been curious about the nature of romantic relationships.
The closest she ever got to romance was what she saw in her favorite sitcoms. She envied the lovers on screen, but it really got her thinking.
Was love a fabricated feeling?
Sure, her mom and dad were the epitome of love, but that didn’t end well for them.
Is love a concept that had been created to soothe lonely souls? Or is it real, but bound to end in destruction and heartbreak?
The Sokovian’s mind drifted to her behavior and the way she felt around you.
Reaching out to hold your hand as the two of you walked the halls of the Compound and cuddling in the late hours of the night. Accidentally falling asleep on one another and laughing about it in the morning.
The overwhelming feeling of happiness she felt whenever you were in her vicinity. The sadness she would feel when you were away on missions. The glorious relief she would feel when you would return.
The worry that would wash over her as she scanned your body for injuries, pulling you into a bone crushing hug when she determined you were okay.
And in the event that you were injured, she wouldn’t hesitate to take care of you.
The way she would overreact as she tended to your wounds. A tiny scratch on your skin seemed like a cause for emergency surgery.
Well, at least to Wanda, it was.
The way she would pester Doctor Cho to double-check that there were no vital injuries.
The immediate relaxation that would take over as you gripped her hand, assuring her that you were just fine. The smile that would cross your features as she let out a sigh of resignation.
The way that she would melt like a cold drink on a hot summer day as your arms wrapped around her. The sense of safety and security that she felt in your strong arms was unmatched. You were her happy place.
It all made sense now; she loved you.
Wanda’s eyes widened at her self-revelation. Her breathing faltered, heart racing, as she stared down at you. She calmed down as you stirred slightly in your sleep, muttering some uncomprehensible words before settling once more.
The brunette laid there beside you, buzzing in excitement, but also shaking anxiously. She wanted to tell you, but didn’t know exactly how to. You were the person she felt she could tell anything and everything.
So, why did the idea of swallowing piping hot lava seem better than professing her love for you?
Wanda slowly fell asleep, thoughts of you swirling throughout her mind. Her head rested on top of yours, enjoying the warmth that your body provided as the sounds of your soft snores met her ears. She would find a way to tell you…. eventually.

1 Month Later
A whole month had passed since Wanda tore off her rose-tinted glasses and saw her feelings for what they really were.
Some weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, but not all of it. She hadn’t told you how she felt yet.
She desperately wanted to tell you, but the fear of rejection was powerful. What if you didn’t feel the same way? What if you think she’s a freak? Or what if her inexperience was something you didn’t want to deal with?
These questions plagued the brunette since the night you had fallen asleep on her shoulder. You didn’t fail to notice Wanda’s subtle change in demeanor around you.
She seemed more tense and anxious and you didn’t know why. Not wanting to push her into talking about something she obviously wasn’t ready to talk about, you decided that a board game night was the way to go.
Now, that’s what the two of you were currently doing.
You and Wanda sat on the floor of the living room on either side of the coffee table. You remembered how much Wanda loved Monopoly, so that’s the game you chose for the night.
It was safe to say that you were kicking Wanda’s ass. You practically owned all of the properties on the board while Wanda somehow kept landing in jail.
Whenever she wasn’t in jail, she landed on your property time and time again, until she went bankrupt.
You let out a small squeal as Wanda begrudgingly handed over the last of her fake money, rolling her eyes as you snatched the papers out of her hand.
A smug smile was plastered across your face and unbeknownst to you, Wanda was swooning.
“In your face! I told you I’d win.” You gloated to the Sokovian who stared at you unamused.
“Did you really win or did I let you win?” Wanda offered a rebuttal and you shook your head at her.
“Nope. I won fair and square. Besides, why would you even let me win?” You laughed out, but your laughter came to an abrupt halt at the brunette’s response.
“Because I love you.”
You could hear a pin drop with the deafening silence that surrounded the two of you. Wanda’s mouth fell open as her expression could only be described as utter shock.
Your face mirrored hers, stunned by the unexpected revelation. After a minute or so, Wanda snapped out of her shocked state.
“Shit! I’m so sorry, Y/N. That isn’t how I wanted to tell you. Well, I wasn’t really sure how to tell you, but this definitely wasn’t one of my options. I’m sorry if I-”
Wanda rambled on nervously and you couldn’t help but smile at her. She looked down to her lap in shame, twiddling her thumbs. You eventually cut off Wanda’s words.
“Don’t be sorry. I’m glad you told me because well…”
It was your turn to be nervous. You felt your breath hitch as you bit your lip, trying to say the words you’ve wanted to say for months.
You had fallen for the brunette awhile ago and were terrified of telling her, not wanting to overstep any boundaries that may exist.
But now, there was nothing to be afraid of.
“I love you too.” You managed to let out and the room was silent once more. Wanda’s emerald eyes bored into your own as she tried to determine if you were telling the truth or not.
From what she could tell, you were being truthful.
She had spent a lot of time around you and knew your tells. When you were nervous, you would bite your lip, just like you were right now. When you were happy, your smile would be so wide that your nose would scrunch up slightly.
When you were sad, you would avoid eye contact with everyone, wanting to shield yourself from the scrutiny of others for fear of being seen as weak.
And when you lied, your eyebrows would crease ever so slightly as a nearly imperceptible frown made its way to your face.
It was small, not noticeable to others, but Wanda was determined to know you as best she could.
And she was relieved to know that you were being honest, just as you had always been with her.
“You do?” Wanda asked in disbelief. You let out a small giggle, standing up and rounding the coffee table. You sat down beside the Sokovian as she turned her body to face you.
You grabbed both of her hands in your own and Wanda felt all her worries vanish at the feeling of your skin against her own.
“Of course I do. Why wouldn’t I?” You questioned as you stared into her eyes deeply. Wanda sighed softly before replying.
“I don’t know. I just come with a lot of baggage. I’m damaged goods and I wasn’t sure you would want to put up with it, with me.”
You instantly shook your head in disagreement, clutching Wanda’s hands tighter, your eyes never leaving hers.
“You’re not damaged, Wanda. You’re someone who has been through the unimaginable and managed to overcome all of the obstacles life has put in your way. You’re a fighter and I hold so much love and respect for you. You’re incredible.”
Wanda smiled gratefully at you before speaking once more, a bashful expression on her face.
“Also, I’m not exactly experienced in the…. love department.” You raised an eyebrow at her words, an amused smile making its way to your face.
“Love department? What is this? Home Depot?”
You teased and Wanda let out a small groan, pulling one of her hands from your grip and slapping your shoulder softly. “Shut up.”
“Communication and cuddles can be found in the Love Department. Aisle five, top shelf on the right.”
You laughed loudly as Wanda landed a harder slap to your shoulder. Despite the annoyed expression on her face, Wanda still laughed along with you.
Your laughter slowly died down. You took a deep breath to regain your composure before speaking again.
“In all seriousness, it doesn’t matter if you’re inexperienced. I couldn’t care less about that. All I want is to make you happy, not what you may or may not have to offer.”
You placed your hand on Wanda’s cheek, the pad of your thumb gently rubbing against her smooth skin.
“And I could always teach you how to love, just as long as I’m the only one you use my awesome and useful knowledge on.”
You smiled softly as the brunette snorted, you could never have a conversation without some sort of humorous comment.
“I’d love that.” Wanda breathed out, her eyes fluttering shut and reveling in the feeling of your gentle caresses.
The two of you sat there, enjoying each other’s company. And for a moment, you were the only people in the world.
Love was uncharted territory and you were the map that would guide Wanda on her journey.
Summary; the presence of a nightmare makes Wanda worry that you will see the reality outside of the Hex, and so she does the only thing that she didn’t manage to do before - protect you.
Warnings; fluff, angst, protective Wanda, mentions of death, heartbreak, nightmares
Whilst she had washed away all the dark memories that clouded your mind when she had entered and created Westview with you, there were still some symptoms that made Wanda nervous and on edge.
As she watched you from your twin bed, which had about a meter gap between her own bed, she noticed how your breathing was hasty. It appeared as though you were unconsciously suffering, experiencing past traumas through your dreams.
Nightmares. There was terror disturbing your peace, clouding your mind with previous truths, that she had purposely forbade you from remembering. If you knew what she had done, she was certain that you would be against the chaos she had transformed into every day life.
But all Wanda wanted was for you to be alive and breathing, just as you had been before Thanos. The name of the titan alone sent shivers up her spine, she would have certainly killed him if she had gotten a fair chance.
She had wanted revenge, to reign an equal amount of torture upon the imposter on earth. But it was not possible now, he was gone and dead, same as you. A gasp fell from your lips as you shot up straight, Wanda could only frown, concerned for what you may have seen.
There were to be no cracks in this reality. If there had been a truth to slip into your mind, then it was her duty to erase it, so that all could be perfect and dandy. With her ability, she dragged your bed closer, causing you to jump from the sudden movement.
“Why’d you do that?” You asked her curiously, aware that you were briefly crying and a tear had fallen down your face from that horrific scene. Wanda could only slide closer to the end of her bed, so that she was in the middle of the split of the separate mattresses.
“Perhaps if we sleep closer together it will keep your mind at ease.” Her hand reached up, brushing away the physical pain that had rolled out of your eye, and suddenly your brain was blank from what had scared you so much. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“I- I don’t remember.” You frowned to and at yourself. you could have sworn that it was on the tip of your tongue, it could have rolled off so easily, however, it was all gone. A part of you was relieved, another confused.
“It’s okay my dear.” She comforted you, brushing back your hair smoothly with her soft hand. “It was just a dream, I will never let anyone hurt you.” Not again.
“Goodnight Wan.” You smiled, shifting closer so that your head rested against her chest. Wanda mirrored your expression, keeping her arms secured around your vulnerable form.
She had missed this, and she didn’t plan to be without your company ever again. This wasn't the real thing, but it sure as hell felt like it, and it could do for now. “Goodnight y/n, I love you.” The avenger pressed a harmless kiss to your forehead, but not without noticing how real it felt to do so.
You were home, and she had nowhere to go if you were not with her. This was the only solution that she could think of to deal with her loss, and her heart fluttered and broke every time that she looked at you.
If anyone tried to take this version of you away from her, well, that would indeed be a nightmare for them. She couldn’t let you leave her as you had previously done, otherwise, she had nothing else to live for.

Kinktober Day 19: - Oral Sex @becs-bunker (i’m so sorry this took so long this one was not coming to me at the time.)
The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day. You had your girl in the car with you, well on your way to the beach; almost there, just one more hour to go. A few back roads later and the car decided to slow down before it totally gave out.
“Really? Come on, Lucy, don’t give up on me now!” You cried out, your hands hitting the steering wheel of your beloved car, Lucy. She had been with you for so long, but naturally she had given out when you and Wanda were headed to the beach (on one of the very few days where you didn’t have to go on a mission with the rest of the team. They had it covered but that didn’t take away the fact that the two of you were now sitting in a broken down car. If only your powers had been those skills of a mechanic.
“That would have been so hot, to see you bent over a car.” Wanda bit her lip, pulling her sunglasses down her nose and looking at you over them. “Sorry, it was just so prominent. I couldn’t help but hear it, then just the thought of you as a mechanic. Gives me all sorts of thoughts.”
“Well, thank you for still thinking I’m sexy after all these years.” You smiled, reaching over to weave your fingers with hers, her words instantly calming you.
Thankfully, you were able to pull over to the side of the road, not to be in the way of the other drivers, if they drove passed sporadically. She squeezed your hand back before releasing it, placing it on her bare thigh. “There is nothing in the world that would make me feel otherwise.”
“You’re the cutest.” You gave her a lopsided smile. “If I ever get out of line, you have my permission to use your powers to tell me to knock it off because you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
Wanda’s arm flew to the back of the bench as she swiveled in her seat, pushing her sunglasses to the crown of her head. “I know, you tell me this every day and I love you for it and as for using my powers to tell you to knock it off.”
Wanda smirked, trailing off, her hand swaying and her fingers twirling, showcasing her red threads of magic.
“I love it when you do that, it’s so… breathtaking.”
She ignored you, her mind elsewhere as she lowered her hand slightly, her fingers barely above your skin but you could feel her. Every inch of your being clenched as her magic surrounded you, warming your insides and making you feel nothing but relaxed and warm.
You bit down on your lower lip, trying to hold yourself together but you were going to break any moment, you didn’t want that to happen. Not yet.
“Wait, wait, wait,” you breathed. “Get out of the car, right now.”
You hadn’t even given her time to get out of the car, her own two feet buckling under her when you made your way around the car and pushed her against the closing door. She tasted so sweet, the lip balm she wore burning your lips when you kissed her. The soft sting of her mango chapstick made you remember the first time you and Wanda shared a kiss. But right now, at this moment, she tasted so much better. She tasted like home and as dorky and as cliché as it sounded, you never felt that way before you met Wanda. You were completely consumed by her.
Wanda moaned against your lips before you pulled away, grabbing her hand and dragging her with you into the grass you made grow to be taller than you with just a touch of your hand to the floor. No one needed to see what you were going to do to Wanda.
The dry dirt road became luscious green personal forest, daisies and daffodils forming a circle against the edges of overgrown grass. Wanda gasped as she witnessed the grass interlocking and weaving into a makeshift bed. It was the greatest trick you had ever performed so far just for the two of you. You didn't use your abilities unless it was absolutely necessary to use them but you knew that Wanda was worth it and your powers weren't hurting anyone; quite the opposite actually. You just wanted everything to be perfect for her. And you hoped that it would be. She got to her knees next to you, her hand closing over yours, you could feel her ever growing warmth spreading across the back of your hand.
When you were sure that your handiwork was perfect and unbreakable, you locked your eyes with hers and smiled. You just wanted to be with her, consumed by her and that was exactly what you were going to do. You were thankful she wore a skirt, it would be so much easier to get to her core.
Taking her hand in yours, you pulled her close, leading her to the weaved bed. Wanda lays on her back and you follow her down, kissing her once more before you make your descent down the length of her body. You watch as she quivers underneath you, anticipating each and every one of your movements. Suddenly you had no control and you were already at her clothed pussy, mouthing over her dampening panties. Wanda gasped but you knew she had a part to play in her own pleasure when her panties weren’t there anymore and you were licking at her bare clit, tongue driving straight into her pussy.
She tasted heavenly, your tongue flicking over her sensitive nub, watching her as she writhed beneath you, trying to hold in her cries.
“No, baby, let me hear you. There’s no one here but you’re mine. I wanna hear you.”
She groaned, somewhere between a strangled cry and pleasure, you knew your tongue was working well against her. It flicked over her clit, back and forth until she was writhing beneath you, hips moving on her own accord but you used your powers to hold her down. Moaning against her, your tongue began to make figure eights around her pussy. Your fingers dug into the flesh of her thighs, pulling her closer to your face.
Her scream alerts you of her impending climax and you don’t stop until you know she has reached the edge and tumbled over, her juice dripping from her pussy. Pulling back, you lick your lips before you return to her weeping cunt, slurping up all her leaking arousal.
You give her clit one last kiss and trail your lips up her body, the grass untangling itself from her body, hiding back underground.
“I have something to confess.” Wanda bites down on lower lip, trying to regain her composure. “The car didn't really break down.”
You would be mad at her but you knew that one look from her and she could distract you from anything and everything else. “If you wanted me to eat you out you could have just asked. Let’s just go to the beach before we miss all the good spots.”
