The last episode of “The Midnight Gospel” on Netflix is beautiful, and so heart breaking, and, wow. I don’t know what else can even be said about it. Just, beautifully heartbreaking.

A new Eminem album AND a new Mac Miller album on the same day?! The greatest alive AND the angel of rap blessing us from the grave?! This is going to be a great year
Last week I got to see The Raconteurs perform live and it was an awesome show! Jack White has been one of my favorite musicians since I was a little kid so I couldn’t be happier that I got to see them. And the fact that no cell phones were allowed to be out at all once you enter the venue actually made it a way better show. I know it’s already gotten big with stand up comedians, and I hope that becomes the new thing for all concerts too.
“Ya best protect ya neck”
Let me rant about music for a second
To me Logic was already easily one of the top 5 greatest rappers, but his new alternative rock album (if you can call it that?) Might be my favorite thing ever right now. And the fact I can’t define it makes it even better.
Life is better than it’s ever been. To anyone struggling, remember that even the hardest struggles will always be worth it in the long run, so keep fighting the best you can and I promise you will emerge on the other side of the darkness stronger and more in love with life than you ever could have imagined. And until you can see it for yourself, I’ll always be here to keep reminding you. Love yourself, love each other, love this beautiful planet, and the rest will fall into place.
Feeling overwhelmed
My whole life I’ve always been the person running around trying to fix everyone else’s problems. It’s just become the family standard that any problem that ever arises with anymore, it’s assumed that I’ll instantly drop everything and handle it all myself. And maybe it’s because it’s true, I always do. And that’s fine, because I can handle it, and on a certain level I’m glad I’m trusted to that degree. The reason I’m venting about this to nobody right now, is today 3 different family members needed my help with 3 completely different things. So naturally I drop everything to help them all, and I’m happy I did. I always am. So I arranged to meet with everyone, I found solutions to everyone’s problems, I spent nearly 12 hours running around doing everything for them all. But I still have a full time job, I still live completely alone and have no support or help paying my own bills, I still have my own problems to solve. So now after a full day of solving other people’s problems, I still have at least 8 hours of work to get through so I can pay my rent next month. I already know by the time I’m done it’ll be well over 24 hours awake. But do I regret helping? Never. It’d just be nice if a single person said thank you every now and then. I’ll still do it again tomorrow if they need me. And I’ll never complain to them about it. They can lean on me all they want. But maybe next time at least one of them can say thank you after. That’s all I want. Just to be appreciated one time.
I’m back home from my camping trip, and it was even more psychologically rejuvenating than I could have ever hoped for. Spending time out in such natural beauty really puts life into perspective and gives me a new sense of appreciation for this world. So don’t be surprised if I start posting a bunch of nature photos I took over the next week or so because the place we went was miraculous.
